Man that game was Crrazzyy.. How in the World those 2 Corners got beat over the top in Deep Coverage.. I was like here we go again in the 4th Quarter.. Overall that was a good game I hate playing division games when it’s in Overtime. I was on the edge of my Seat SMH😂😂😂😂😂

Other than the two jump balls to Byrd that ended in INTs and that weird sack he took deep in our territory on the 2nd drive, he had a fantastic game.

bro gets 3 td and has a huge play at the end of the game for the win and people still cry and complain about him. keep ballin mariota this is the best i’ve seen the falcons look since 2018. this team was expected to lose damn near every game and they have played so well that now the expectation is playoffs.

@Lonz500 everyone’s a QB analysts these days LOL “those sacks in the 1st could have been avoided” if u watched the game he avoided %90 of his drop backs the announcers even talked about it and showed statistics the TRUTH is the Oline and passing play calls need to improve. If u noticed Mariota and OC adjusted in the 2nd half w more quick passes and HB check downs to help ease the pressure. If u know football or played you know that being known as a Run 1st system teams are going to stack the box on you and prepare of ur run game.
@Cliff Howell yeah he has some limitations for sure. everyone once in a while he throws a nice deep pass but he does get a little risky at times

That first pass on the run was beautiful. It wasn’t a big gain, it wasn’t a touchdown, but plays like that are what shows how talented Mariota is. He doesn’t get enough credit. I don’t think he’s elite but he’s definitely above average QB.

That 30 yard run in OT maybe the best run I’ve ever seen him do (and that includes his Oregon days and his 87-yard TD run with the Titans). First, he had to avoid the TFL against the crashing DE, then he just took off and made that great cut to the outside. Even the announcer thought the RB had the ball. That run came at such a critical part of the game. Yeah, I get it – he threw some picks in the game. But, he was given an extra chance and made the most of it.

Mariota is definitely heating up. It would be great to see him break 30 TDs this season, or at least match his career high of 26.
I watched a lot of Mariota games in Tennessee and he was magic when he was healthy and elevated the play of an otherwise atrocious team.
