There was a game in Tennessee where they lost and Mariota was in a particular grumpy mood and kinda was short and a little rude with the reporters. He came out next day and said his mom saw the press conference and chewed him out so he wanted to apologize to all the reporters for his disgraceful attitude lol. That’s Marcus, a lot of ppl back home are watching him, like momma. Lol

He’s been my QB as an Oregon Duck, Titans, Raiders & now Falcons- only the Ducks & now the Falcons coaching staff are treating him the way he should be treated- other two teams didn’t do him justice, especially Titans- too many coaching changes, management only wanted a winner and he was the fall guy for their management failures!! Really agree with just about everything, though I want to give the Raiders a little credit for the fact that they gave him time to heal and participate in an established QB room to mature. Not a Raiders fan, I just think that the hiatus between the Titans and the Falcons was about the best thing that could have happened to him, restoring his confidence and desire to come back and ball out. Additionally, that 2yr backup stint really facilitated his opportunity as a Falcon, so everyone wins. Just wish I could trade that signed Titans jersey for a Falcons one, lol. Go Birds, and GO MM1!!
@Aaron Morrow Your right, he did have a chance to heal with the Raiders! I have always been behind him even when people dish on him- He’s a very respectful, humble & kind human and we need more players like him in Football, other sports & in this world😊
