Well he was healthy in 6 in a half games he played in Tennessee before getting benched I just hope the offensive line can hold down their blocks
@Ivan Tuite His left tackle was suspended the first 5 games and the other team had free run at him. Henry was getting stuffed because the line was so terrible. After Mariota was benched the line went from being bottom of the league in performance to middle of the pack.
Drake London Vs AJ Terrell in practice will make them both way better so that’s nice to see

@Ali you can’t be a true fan and hope that a player doesn’t play well. If he doesn’t and we get a top 5 pick, there’s no guarantee that we will get the player everyone wants. A high draft pick does not mean that he will be a successful player.

We were in the “I really need a massage” sweepstakes but ended up with a classy hard-working vet who looks hungry to excel in chapter 3 of his career….and we got a equally hungry rookie and a dynamic backup at QB3. I will love MR2 forever but excited to see something different. Go Mariota!

Dang I hate that Mariota is not a Titans. The Titans staff and management did him nasty. I almost stopped being a Titans fan. I have two teams now. Call me a Titan Falcons fan. TitanUp and RiseUp.

No doubt they did Marcus Mariota dirty. In his last year with Titans, his top two o line was out for 3-4 games. Taylor Lewan was suspended for 4 games and rookie Nate Davis was hurt. We had that no good Douglas starting as a guard and some other bum as well. Marcus Mariota had to chance to stay in pocket. Coaching staff definitely set him up for failure.
The Titans ran him into the ground. I’m surprised that he didn’t quit football all together

Been a fan since Oregon and I must say that his mid range accuracy and his deep ball accuracy gotten way better even since the Titans foot work in the pocket has changed too noticed that with the raiders tho

I already see the difference in ball trajectory. Marcus throws ppl open. Ridder throws and they fall a little flat cause he’s trying to hit their numbers.
Ridder has a lot to learn as a rookie which is why it’s stupid ti think he’ll start out the gate. Mariota is not only a vet but is the better talent plain and simple.

Last year was a 7-10 season so I can say playoffs in the first year of the rebuild.
I’m seriously thinking of drafting Kyle Pitts in the 1st round for fantasy football. Mariota really likes his TEs and I think Pitts will have a lot of looks this year. Can’t wait.
Imagine double TE set – Pitts and 6’7′ Franks on either side of the snap.

I love the hate that Atlanta with Marcus at the helm is getting , so I can see them all eat crow at the end of this season saying “they never saw this coming” , but we who know , will tell them we knew all along . Let’s go Marcus !! Let’s Go Atlanta !!! This will be an exciting year and I can’t wait !!!
Hopefully a deep playoff run and heck this might be the season where the legacy of failure ends. Bengals went on their run last season so why not a rebuilding Falcons squad.
