@Jason Tremane 15 has like 5k more yards & 0 more TDS…at least 8 less INT’S. O & an MVP, SBMVP, OPOY, 2 SB appearances, 4 AFCCG’S, 4x Pro Bowl, 2X All Pro. The fastest to 20k yards (67 games) & the youngest to do a lot of these things. So is 17 really up there? I think not.

@Daniel Eusebio He’s always had the ability. But he had his safety blanket in hill. He had that trust that the dude would outrun every defender and he could just throw it up and knew hill would track it down and catch it. He has to be more methodical with his throws now. Especially after last year with hill throwing a fit for not getting the ball enough. So mahomes was force feeding him all season. He didn’t trust his other receivers. Which throwing to hill while he was being doubled and tripled resulted in 4 or 5 interceptions. Some off of hills hands that he should have caught. I’m kind of glad he’s gone

It’s not you. Mahomes has gotten more accurate. He’s staying in the pocket, going through his progressions and making better decisions. Putting it all together. He threw some absoulete dimes in that Niner game. 3rd and 11 and Mahomes threw that ball 57 yards to MVS. I was like WOW! That was bold. Then he hits JuJu WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field. JuJu was so wide open I could have thrown the ball to him. There wasn’t a man near him. Then JuJu ran 45 yards for the TD.

@Daniel Eusebio What you’re likely seeing is an improvement from the last two years, where his catchable pass rate dropped from 82 percent in 2019 down to 76.2 and then 74.8. It’s 79.1 so far this year. His deep ball catchable pass rate also moved up from 49.2 to 53.8 to 59.1.

Those are not his career highs though, which were both set in 2019. However, it’s worth mentioning that 2019 was a pretty conservative year for him, with just 19 money throws and 15 interceptable passes. For comparison, in 2020 he also had 15 interceptable passes, but 39 money throws. After a “down” year in 2021, this is essentially a combination of 2019 and 2020. 14 money throws and 13 interceptable passes. Combined with the improvement in completed pass rates above, this says that he’s making a lot of those tight window throws. And it’s paying dividends, because his current 16 game EPA projection would only trail 2018’s as his career high.

@Charlie Porter watch some football instead of looking at nit picked stats that say he’s accurate. So many of tuas throws are severely under thrown or a dumb decision but gets away with more now that he has tyreek and waddle. So many throws from tua has me wondering what he was thinking or how does he I under-throw a 30 yard pass lmao
