@johnlinksBeas have a great defense and it was his fourth game, not even complete games for the first and fourth. As if Mac didn’t make mistakes last year.

Not that the other players don’t always try their best, but if Mac gets a chance to start, this team will have a little extra motivation for Mac. A lot of them feel like he was done dirty… Mostly by so-called “Patriot fans”. This loyal fan has Mac’s back.

@Eva Volkin I’d almost bet if Mac gets the nod on Sunday he shows out and they upset the jets. He heard what happens Monday and that had to sting unless he just unconscious of anything. Unfortunately I think Sunday will show what’s gonna happen this season at least though. Because if he looks scared or rattled after what he went through Monday it might force the pats to put in Bailey so that way he doesn’t ruin his own confidence

@Blake46 They were booing him on the first drive. They contributed to the bad play if anything. It’s just a stupid thing to do. Especially since they were all calling him the franchise last year.
Currently, other than 4 elite teams, every other team in the NFL is fairly equal in talent. It’s all about executing a game plan. The Patriots lost to the Bears primarily because they couldn’t stop them on third downs. They didn’t expect the bears quarterback to run as much as he did. Overall the coaches were somewhat responsible for poor preparation and lack of in game adjustments. To hang it all on Mac or Zappe is unfair.
I’m a new england fan but sometimes I am ashamed to be who in the right mind is chanting zappe in the stadium that’s not going to help mac return is it. Zappe is a good backup I would not say he is better then mac. Keep in mind our first 3 games of the season was not the easies. And surely if anyone rembers last season a rookie qb got us to the playoffs. Guess who that qb was, mac Jones so give the nan some respect.
Mac is a pro. After what happened on Monday this is really good to hear.

@Eric Fortman I don’t think Zappe had a good game, but his numbers are about the same as Mac’s since the bye last year. Since the bye Mac’s average per game is 19-30 218 1 TD 1.2INTs. So, while wasn’t good Monday night Jones hasn’t been good since 11/28/2021. I could have gone back to the game just before the bye but the three attempt Bills game would be wrong to hold against or for Jones.
@Penguins Fan Mac isn’t great neither is Bailey but they both imo have the work ethic and the ability to grow, and if I’m investing a first rounder in a guy hate to say it he gets more than a year and half especially all things considered he was a pro bowler his rookie year, you don’t get that for being bad, if he was bad he would’ve never been considered no matter who didn’t go. (Trevor Lawrence Zach Wilson etc) idk maybe at most off-season stir the pot, but if I’m bill I’m giving the keys to Mac and telling him to drive, either he wins or we get a high pick to get more talent on the roster

Love ya Mac!! 💖 You are resilient and will rise to the top. I have a Godson that played NCAA basketball. He was the star of the team and people either loved him or hated him. When he got boos, he performed way better because that’s what fueled his fire. He got out there and showed the booers what he is really made of.
I think he handled this all great and passed the test. Really good start to proving who deserves to be the starting quarter back. Mac’s our qb. That group of people yelling Zappe were few rows behind me . And I kept saying he’s 5’10 … the. He comes in and throws it off hands six times. If Mac keeps his head together and makes good adjustments at the line. He will be ok
