@Derek Levesque Zappe has the big play ability that Jones lacks!! The going back to Jones says to me that Belichick doesn’t want to bruise his ego which is amazing because 20 years ago he had no problem telling a franchise QB who led the team to a Super Bowl appearance that he wasn’t getting the gig back. Belichick no longer has that ruthless streak that he once did.

The penalty that brought back the pick six was after the throw so still a horrible throw and decision. His arm strength looks really bad. Noodle arm! Almost every throw is a dump off. Easy to defend when no downfield threat. I want Mac to succeed but something is wrong.

MacJones is not a leader type also very nervous on long passes, only strengh is running the ball

@Panic At The Disco well it’s very hard to find elite qbs and have them develop. Mcdaniels did a good job with Mac last year. As much as I hated mcdaniels we should have done everything in our power to keep him. Bill replaced mcdaniels with 2 failed head coaches who have never ran an offense before. You don’t just do that. Patricia had the wrong players during the 1st month if the season, He benched KB for liljordan Humphrey who was useless. Belichick needs to find an actual OC next offseason.

@Joseph Banda of course its not going to be perfect but, the greats dont get worse at the end of the season and playoffs time its not in their blood. They do all the losing early, learn from the mistakes, lock in and ELEVATES their GAME.
