The team gave up 30 points in regulation for the first time this season. Talk about a spoiled fan base, my god. It’s going to happen in today’s passing NFL.
@Brady331 so having 2tds 4 ints and less than 500 yards for an entire month isn’t a major reason for the losses? The defense was bad sure but they are probably gased from carrying Mac all season. Both RBs have been amazing which is why we are top 5 in rushing but again they’ve both been hurt and that could be because of carrying the offense. No Nelson Agholor last week why because Mac got him hurt. When your QB plays like crap and you lose thats a major reason why when you go 6-30 on 3rd down for an entire month the QB is a major reason why. When you win a game throwing 3 passes it’s all defense when you don’t score more than 7 points until the 4th quarter your defense is on the field a lot and you get gases. QBs get all the credit but you people never want to blame him for anything. If your blaming the defense for the loss than don’t credit Mac for the wins. Harris had maybe his best game ever last week and Mac did 0 with it.
@Anthony exactly the defense has been carrying the team all year, they have one bad game vs a top 5 QB that everyone in New England think sucks and all of a sudden everything is there fault. We’ve lost games giving up 17 points 19 points and 20 points to the Colts up until the last second.
Pats are averaging like 16ppg this month while Mac is completing 54% of his passes averaging under a TD per game and under 200 yards per game. But yes lets blame the defense for having 2 bad games all year.

They were only down by less than a touchdown in the 4th quarter so they should not of changed anything
Let’s not forget the bills had a dropped touchdown and another called back due to a penalty so this score should have been worse for the pats.

Stop acting like he doesn’t deserve massive blame. Burrow had more yards and TDs Sunday than Mac has the entire month. You don’t think that effects the defense?
@Brady331 your missing my point the analysis on Cam was last year that he was terribel. Those same people are pushing Mac as the future. Cam and Mac have the same completion % Cam had more tds and less turnovers with a joke roster. So how can anyone say at this point that Mac has been good when Cam was “terrible” doing the same thing.

@ashton luck I was saying the weapons held Brady back. We still haven’t revamped the WR really room to a respectable threat yet. It went from crap with Brady to meh to mediocre now.

@Bryan Maclean Yes but no.. Arm strength is very hard to improve without losing accuracy. He has thrown Footballs for years and years now, has his technique; of course he could put more power on it, but there is a reason why he has thrown like he is right now for a longer time. Bcs it makes him feel comfortable on targeting and throwing. And if you force him to change that his accuracy will suffer
I’ve noticed something about Mac that can be good or bad. He never gives up on his guys regardless if people think they’re “not #1s.” When we played Dallas and Diggs picked him, he was targeting Bourne. Bourne said it was on him, that he wasn’t in the right spot. The next series, he came back to Bourne, KB redeemed himself on Diggs and went 75yds to the house for a TD.
When we played Indy, Nkeal snatched the 40yarder. So Mac’s confidence in him went up. Today he dropped his 1st pass. Mac gave him another shot. On his 2nd target, he let it turn into a turnover.

I think it’ll serve him well with better receivers because right now he’s trying to make lemonade out of lemons with this subpar WR group. Drops and turnovers are a part of the game and if every QB lost confidence in his guys after those, points would never be scored on offense. But trust me, with an overhaul at the wr position with legitimate threats, this approach will pay off.
Side note; how fast do you think Bill ships Harry off after the season ? The pass thrown to him that was tipped, he watched it hang in the air and made zero attempts at grabbing it before the interception. The kid is done, we’ve run out of excuses for him

Our defense has fallen asleep!!! It’s not the offense, our defense is letting us down big time, never seen a bunch like these guys, they’re either shutting down an opponent’s offense,or they can’t get a 3 and out!

Mac’s demeanor has been different ever since the first Bills game where he was essentially benched and told to hand it off each play. Before that, he was downright smug about his abilities and oozing with confidence. You could see it in his press conferences. Even after he injured that defender, he seemed proud of what he did and like it made him a competitor. Rookies can be fragile and Coach B can be aloof. Patriots will be fine, but the confidence in their QB is not there right now. They will get it back by playoffs though.
They ain’t going to the playoffs. They night beat the Jaguars at Home but they are sure as hell ain’t going to beat the Dolphins in Miami. Not even the 🐐 could do it this late in the season. The Bills have an easy 2 games left. They have their division. So that leaves 4 teams. Other than the Bills, Titans, and Chiefs. The Colts, Bengals, Browns, maybe the Chargers and Raiders, and of course the Dolphins. They will win both their remaining games. The Dolphins are 7-7 with 3 games remaining (Saints, Titans, Patriots)
The Chargers are 8-7 with 2 games remaining (Broncos, Raiders)
The Ravens are 8-7 with 2 games remaining (Rams, steelers)
The Riders are 8-7 with 2 games remaining (Colts, Chargers)
If all of them win out, they will be 10-7
If the Patriots win against the Jaguars they’re in with a 10-7 record, because they hold the tiebrakers, even if they lose twice to Miami, because the head to head tiebraker wouldn’t count, because of a 4 10-7 way tie, Patriots, Ravens, Dolphins, and Chargers/Raiders/Colts. The next tiebraker is wins within the Conference, and the Patriots have the most.
So it will be:
5th seed: Colts if they win out.
6th seed: Patriots if they win one more game.
7th seed: Chargers if they win out.
5th seed: Patriots if they win one more game, and Colts lose against the Raiders.
6th seed: The Colts if they lose to the Raiders.
7th: Raiders if they win out.
5th seed: Patriots, if they win one more game and Colts lose to the Raiders.
6th seed: Ravens, if Colts lose to the Raiders, and Raiders lose to the Chargers.
7th seed: Colts
If the Patriots lose both of the next 2 games, they’re out at 9-8…

The defense lost this game yesterday cause the offense fought to come back and the defense just kept on losing the lead every time the bills were on the field, and a blown call by the refs on a late hit on jones helped the bills.
That Late contact on the sideline should have been called. There is no reason to put your hands on a player way after he is out of bounds. There are plenty of people on the sidelines to stop Mac’s momentum as he’s running out of bounds. I think he is being a bit hard on himself but that is how every quarterback thinks after a loss. Keep on playing Mac!!
