@Jinner Ankh is clueless. Mac not the problem tonight. That was the most pathetic defensive performance I have ever seen on any level – high school, college, pro. It seemed like they were playing D with only 6 or 7 guys most of the night. You can’t do any worse than giving up a TD on every drive. I can’t remember ever seeing that happen in any game.

Defense was bad tonight, but the defense has carried this team all year against an easy scheduale. Mac Jones is a problem. He isn’t good. He is an average qb surrounded by a great coaching staff, top offensive line and running game, and great D(though not tonight, but that chubby qb couldn’t put up any points anyway, 10 points? OUCH!)

@Jeff Thelen mac may not have been the problem but he also wasn’t the answer. He is a Case Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater, he won’t lose you any games, but you better damn sure get an early lead because he ain’t winning you any either, lol

Couldn’t have said it better, as a fairly young patriots fan I have witnessed a lifetime of glory and unforgettable moments so I can’t at all say I’m disappointed with the outcome as an NFL fan. The Bills showed they deserved it, but as a patriots fan taking an L like that is embarrassing and something I’ve never seen from this team in the playoffs, especially with such a good defense (Gilly you are dearly missed)

Is arm strength not part of “everything it takes” anymore? Next year he will see 8 in box until he shows he can beat you passing. Draft a QB or find a way to get Rodgers. First of all there’s no Tom without Bill and second did I call anyone the “goat”…no. third of all that record you keep putting up is with the Cleveland Browns sir. I think you see it better than most Pat fans but were your wrong (and as a Jew,we don’t have many great athletes,we win Nobel prizes at an unreal clip though,lol ) Jules “the Jew” has about a 50 game career if he doesn’t fall in Toms lap.Cole Beasly will probably be available next season and if Mac had “tight window zip” Cole is exactly what you are describing on wish list.Problem is Mac has no heat(or strength of arm I am meaning) so Edelman and Beasly types who run great routs and get open are not as valuable in Patriot’s current framework. I think they need a different QB. Remember Mac was “most NFL ready” of last draft class QBs but no one in their right mind would want him over Trevor Lawrence or Fields in Chicago I also think the guy Frisco got will be better just because of Wentz and Allen coming from the same sort of place and taking a few years to catch up to guys who had 3 years in a pro type offence at school.I do not think Mac is garbage I just don’t think he has the talent that will keep him starting in the NFL after his rookie deal expires.When your QB’s most attractive feature is his salary,you need a QB.

@michael risman As long as he doesn’t expect Aaron Rodgers money he’ll be fine. Not a bad point on Beasley being available. I think Aghalor is honestly the worst of the three starting WR. All he can do is run down the field but can’t make contested catches and doesn’t bother trying to keep the defenders off the ball at all.

@michael risman I’m not sure how old you are, but I have been a Pats fan since long before Brady was even heard of. You are assuming his arm strength won’t get any better over time. That’s a big mistake. With proper off-season dedication and progressive training, that can easily be fixed. If you remember Brady when he came into the league, he was considered slow and completely non-athletic. What changed? With an unparalleled dedication to his craft and a lot of training, he developed into the GOAT with plenty of arm strength. I’m sure Jones’ arm strength won’t be a problem moving forward. If it doesn’t improved, then you are right. He will be gone with the expiration of his rookie contract,

@Jared Bahre Brady has the quick release and accuracy that makes him GOAT. He has also had great tight ends and his strong suit was always slants and passing to the middle of the field(Welker and Edleman) have 30 game careers if Brady isn’t their QB(In my opinion) . No Gronk, No Hernandez, no ZIP release no arm strength.NO DICE. I watched Mack in College 20 times and thought his strength was the deep ball but at Alabama, his receivers were top 10 picks being guarded by future gym teachers. Seams are smaller in NFL and DBs close much quicker (he also doesn’t have a superior lineman at every position on the line like at Bama. Until he “reads” more than half the field in his drops we really don’t have a clue if he will remain a starter in this league. I will say it again would you trade 4 Mac Jones for 1 Trevor Lawrence ? You would I would B.B. would Jaxonville wouldn’t for 5 Macs.I don’t think Frisco would or the Bears for their guys from last year and you know the Jets kid can make all the throws when he has the talent that say Mac has around him.I am not a believer as of yet.

If you have a Tom Brady anyone can become an Edleman or a Weker.The linebackers tend to lean to the Gronks and Hernandezes of the world.(Nobody worked the middle like Brady ) You wont like what I am gonna say but Edleman has a 30 game career if he was in any other organization.
