Floaty arm Mac is not the future. You serious…this is a joke right? This guy can’t roll out of the pocket and make a play…..Floats the ball and makes crap passes under pressure… every time. Mac is a high end backup who is great…..as long as everything is perfect.
He doesn’t have the arm strength of a top tier QB. Doesn’t play well on his feet like a top tier QB. Lacks confidence. It’s not surprise top 3 AFC teams have the top 3 QBs in the AFC. Mahomes, Allen, and Burrows. You think Mac stands up to those guys?
It’s hard to tell how he’ll play next year, but regardless, he played great today!
@CITY OF THE CHAMPS 2 of his interceptions were catchable passes that were tipped up in the air and even still the bills defenders had to dive for those aka make great plays in order to get those interceptions

Last year, we lost to the Bills in embarrassing fashion. I did not make one single excuse. We played poorly and they had a perfect game where they went seven possessions for seven touchdowns, and no punts. This game, however, boiled my blood. I am usually not a conspiracy theorist, but it felt like this was a set up from the start. I have a buddy who hates the Patriots because he’s a Dolphins fan. He needed the Patriots to lose so his team could make the playoffs. Even he said to me that he saw Matthew Slater on the opening kick off was drilled in the back and held to the ground, which, in an ordinary NFL universe would be, a penalty for block in the back. After that, I knew the fix was in. The sad part is Buffalo is the better team and probably could have won outright. However, I think the refs were caught up in some kind of excitement or revelry from the fans or something and totally ignored some plays. I mean there wasn’t a single penalty in this game called until midway during the third quarter. I understand the attitude might be “let them play” but rules are rules and there for a reason holding, pass interference, etc. should be called. I’m not embarrassed by this year‘s team because they fought hard to the end. The team can only play as hard as they are coached. Changes need to be made. That’s all I have to say.

Jones is not the future this is clear. He has struggled to move the ball the whole season. Struggled to score and seems that he is playing the same way as the year before. No improvement whatsoever. We need to move on from Jones. The OC needs to go too.
Mac is good, just the rest of the team needs to adjust and they will be fine..
Well it’s both sides of the situation here right I mean there is the patriots coaching staff that has been a mess since Brady left and there is mac jones who is a very talented qb who is young and has a lot of room and time to grow ; that being said I hope patriots can clean up their coaching staff for their next qb and that mac jones finds somewhere he can be him on a team that truly appreciates his work on and off the field . It’s on the coaching staff for why mac jones hasn’t developed properly at the patriots not mac . Mac jones deserves better either at the patriots or somewhere else, just saying , mac jones is doing the best he can with what he has around him , it’s not his fault . If he isn’t at the patriots next season or he is a back up then the pats messed up big time and I hope and wish the best for mac jones for him to show and display his talent and abilities on and off the field .
