Big Packer fan here. You guys got a great player! Not the most talented, but Lucas blocks until the whistle and beyond. He picks up the slack of others, and finishes defenders with relentless effort. My team was stupid to let him go, and now we’ll have to deal with him twice a year. But I’m super pumped for Lucas and wish him the best; just not in 2 particular games each year.
Don’t sweat too much. You still have Rodgers. That’s basically two guaranteed wins a year vs the Bears.
My favorite Packer of all time! He plays with relentless effort and toughness, plus he’s an awesome person and teammate. LP is a glue guy too (on the field and in the locker room). The Bears landed a good one here! While I will miss him on GB, I am happy he’s on a team that wants and appreciates what he brings to the table. Go tear it up with Chicago, Lucas! The Packers will have to be ready to go, when they have to face you, and the Bears in 2022.
This guy has the perfect attitude. So often in sports people overlook psychology and character when evaluating and projecting players. He went from being undrafted to being a starting center in the NFL who is respected by a 1st ballot hall of fame quarterback. He’s not the most athletic guy in the world, but he has every intangible you need to succeed. I’m excited about the types of players that Poles is bringing in and that already exist on this team. There are a lot of really driven, tough, high character young players on this team.
He’s a smart guy great attitude good family man, welcome to the Chicago Bears.
