Protection, defense has to get better this offseason

Lovie im sure got the ok from Nick who got the Ok from Cal , this should have been done week 4 now Texans don’t have a chance of catching anybody and Kyle will now have all the pressure on him if you could have thrown Kyle in say when Mills was struggling during a close game would have been better and not put all the pressure on Kyle .

I’m tired of the stupid questions the reporters ask. QB change ok but if a man gets sacked 5 times and hit 9 more times in a game he should be glad to get a week off from such abuse. OL needs to stand back there and get hit a few times.

“Protection has to be better no matter who our quarter back is.” -Lovie Smith. No Joke! Probably would have been close to .500 at this point if we had a better offensive line. I’m not saying Davis Mills should be our man, but no matter who lines up at QB needs better protection. Our offensive line has literally been the 2022 NFL defensive lines whooping boys this year. Its irritating that media and fans are pushing for a change when we need to come in close to last this year. BIG PICTURE this was always going to be a developmental year. At some point I think we all realized that there are just too many holes that need to be filled for us to compete. So here we go with shouts of “These Texans are unwatchable” and now it’s possible that Davis Mills and the success of our 2023 draft gets sacrificed on the altar of our impatience and short-sightedness. It’s not like we got beat 40-3 last week. why change now? The one QB that might have been worth a number 1 pick is now out with a torn ACL, and our next best option is only 5’10” and a buck 85. YIKES! Yes sir, let’s put Bryce Young under Quessenberry and see how long that lasts. Good buy Will Anderson Jr. & Jalen Carter. I wish y’all were going to be a Texan, but it sure doesn’t look like it. (Yes, I know I’m whining.) Go Texans!
