im not happy, not mad, just disappointed that rex burkhead kept getting the ball.

I completely agree! There is absolutely no reason for Burkhead to get that many carries for any team let alone our team that potentially has a stud RB in Pierce.
I understand the NFL is a business and Rex Burkhead has to be productive in order to get what’s in his contract it’s all business but we all know he is not going to be a main source for this offense going forward

Texans played a good game and almost won . That being said, they didn’t loose either. The defense and offense played well at times but neither did enough to put the game away. No doubt this team is better than last year but theirs room for so much improvement. In the end, Mills turnover cost the team from getting a big win. Go Texans !

@Allen Bass Offense went 3 and out entire 4th quarter.. Defense was on field the entire 4th because the QB disappeared

Why do people keep saying that the Texans played a good game? They blew a 20 to 3 lead for Christ sakes! On top of that they we’re playing against a Colts team that gave them countless opportunities to win the game

outstanding point of view..It was a great game..
They were like a 9 point underdog and managed yo tie vs the team that outscored us 62-3 last year. There was a lot of positives to take from this but it is the first game of the season after all, lot of rookies and new additions playing their first actual game.
Coach gonna get those issues fixed! No worries, Go Texans!!!!

Mills, knowing what went wrong on some of those passes is great, im sure he’ll focus on those points this week and come out next week in a better headspace ready to execute

@Jopri’ Bashan Bro this was his 12 start in the NFL. Go check out Justin Fields stat line from their game, or Trevor Lawrence or any of the 2nd year QBs. Swear to god the Texans have to most toxic pessimistic fanbase in all of sports.
The play calling was subpar and I don’t understand not using the rookies that you use high picks on. The game looked like it’s still kind of fast for Mills
I’m disappointed that mr.3 yard burkhead got that much playing time and I’m extremely unsatisfied with them not going for it at the end and trying to get a field goal and Derek stingley had some good plays but more bad then good

Davis Mills played good for 3 quarters then he completely fell apart in the 4th.
20-3 at the half… forced fumble cost us the game .
Nobody expected the Texans to win this game and these guys fought very hard despite of their full potential by excluding Damian Pierce. This team is very good and they have Playmakers but they got to Game Plan on the offensive line Run game and defensive line just didn’t have much depth at all. I really think the Texans can win 7to 9 games with their full potential. I just hope Davis Mills gets a fair shot and not rely on drafting another rookie that will set this franchise back another 2 years. I’m proud of this Texans team they fought hard for Coach Lovie Smith I don’t think another coach could have coached better throughout the course of the game and I don’t blame him for punting the ball. Looking for them to play a good game against Denver next week. I might add Taylor had 31 carries 160+ yds but I guarantee you he is a tired beat up man right now. If you get 31 carries you should have 100 plus yards very proud of this defense they didn’t give up too many points despite the offense not being as productive. Go Texans!🤘🤘🤘
