@Ferdie Cassel Yet Brees, Manning, Flacco, etc are all out due to injuries, those rule changes only protect so much, heck look at the young qbs, how many of them can you say played without getting any injuries. Unless they make it 2 hand touch football, qb are still in danger of getting hurt, I mean all it took was just a simple push on Tua to give him a concussion, it all depends on how you go down and how to absorb the hits and the way qb are running around all day, they expose themselves to getting blind side tackled way harder since they are leaving the pocket made to protect them.

@Jon Mcclain Well Manning was specifically a pocket passer, I think eventually Mahomes will have to become one later in his career for just that reason. As long as he still has his arm strength/accuracy than who knows. I don’t think he’s not like Vick/Cam where there highs were really high, than suddenly their skill dropped off the face of the earth. Or RG3 who had a coach that seemed intent on ending his career lol.

It’s called SMART TRAINING. Now being a LUNKHEAD MUSCLEHEAD and just training hard like a fool. Read his book, TB12, and it’s not about refusing anything. It’s called using your BRAIN vs being status quo and just thinking you can outmuscle, outwork, and just train hard to get results.

@B. Mills J Manning had better offense around him his whole career than Brady’s career in NE but he chokes alot in post-season compared to Brady who was playing with bunch of white midget receivers. The only time Brady had better offense was when they have Moss and he broke a lot of records during that time. Brady won SBs with clutch drives, Manning won 2 SBs playing like a backup QB.

@Jeff Woodward I hope that him & Mahomes have some sort of cordial correspondence and that it is a tutelage type of thing. Brady knows all too well about having a dominant TE and a bunch of other skill guys around in the pursuit of championships. Though KC is very different, stylistically, on offense & there defense doesn’t burn hot, more like has flash super nova moments. I’ve, not all that begrudgingly, come to respect Mahomes & the Chiefs and it wouldn’t beva bad thing, to me, if Mahomes was the successor to Brady as being THE guy that you can’t ever count out in a game, moving forward.
