This will be a very interesting and important matchup for the falcons, a win here will put the falcons above .500 for the first time since 2017, we have had many chances to get over .500 but always failed so here is another chance. We also need to run to continue to get ahead in the division. A huge key to winning this game is stopping herbert and their passing game. My concern is our secondary but it will definitely help if terrell and hawkins are able to return. Also we need to keep an eye on ekeler and watch for those check downs. Good news, on offense patterson should be returning so our run offense can go back to full strength. We need to exploit the chargers defense with our run game. Once again, big game but i believe in this team, i think we can finally get over .500

Yah, still a lot of Mariota Doubters. I love what he’s brought to our team. much better than our matt Ryan era play calling : pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, run on 3rd and short and not get it. Also we used to have the worst REd zone Touchdown percentage, and now its the highest its ever been. If we get 40+ yards down the field, they cant stop us.

This could really go either way. Chargers have the better qb but the Falcons have the better coaching staff. The weaknesses for both teams are glaring so brightly it is really about who is going to exploit that weakness first and force the game to go the way that they want.
Turnovers are always the X factors you can’t time therefore the less penalized team will win the falcons at home which should provide an advantage considering they been wining lately

There is just no way of telling which Charger team will show up at this point, it’s impossible to know if the Chargers will look like a Pop Warner team or Pro team on any given Sunday. Unfortunately this has been the case for the 40+ years I’ve been watching them play, every year it’s the same old story, different players, different coaches same curse for the Chargers. They are just one of those teams that will probably never get it right in my lifetime. I had such high hopes this season more than ever before in any years past but they managed to quickly shutdown my hopes faster than I thought could ever happen.
Would love to see Paterson against this defence

My heart says Falcons, but my mind says Chargers because Falcons will keep the game close for the three quarters and then choke in the 4th. Hopefully the defense steps up because honestly they were the ones that allowed the Panthers to nearly win with 12 seconds left on the clock.
