@Jack Baxton so many other comments though are actually surprised. I’m just shocked on how they’re surprised. Herbert and Ekeler were on my fantasy team. So, I watched and kept up with the Chargers. A lot of trash plays and bad clock management.

i remember when he fired a tight end on hard knocks not long ago
One of the worst time management I have ever seen by a head coach. 7 one score loses they could have at least won 3 or 4 of those. They would have been 11-5 or 10-6 and maybe made the playoffs.

Don’t forget in 2019, 9 of their 11 loses were by 1 score, with the first 7 loses all by 1 score being an NFL record. But when you have Rivers as a Scapegoat for years and suddenly you can’t blame everything on him, people finally started realizing it wasn’t his fault they’d be loses for years. You start realizing that he was the reason they were even close games week in and week out. Didn’t see anyone blaming Herbert for the losses this season, instead suddenly it’s literally every other aspect of the team from ownership to coaching to injuries to bad play, etc.
Lynn is a good coach for a run based offense. With Herbert’s style, the 2 dont fit
