All I know is we had a Jaguars team that nearly beat Belichick, Brady and the Patriots in NE in AFC Championship game and our QB was nowhere near as accurate as TLaw. So anyone betting their house against this Jaguars team might find themselves homeless.

Hey Brian, hey Oesher, hope all is rockin’ sweetly for you and your families. Okay – look you guys. Maybe you’ve heard of a couple of other coaches Coach Pederson played for, who (he’s said) had a ‘huge impact’ on him as a player -and a coach: Mike Holmgren coach this Podunk little NFL franchise way up north in Wisconsin. As crazy as it sounds, Coach Pederson actually won a ring up there as a back up QB. Give the ’96 Superbowl a peek. And then there was this other guy, who he played for from 91 to about ’95, Don Shula. Ever heard of him? Made a great steak, and oh yeah: got to 5 Superbowls, winning 2. He’s also the winningest coach in the NFL with 347 victories. Coach Pederson learned from both of these men, as well as from Coach Reid. IMO they know each other very well but that cuts both ways, seems to me.
One other thing: Watching Maurice Jones-Drew run in 2011 was beyond a treat, equal to seeing Danny Marino uncork his talent on an unsuspecting NFL in ’85. In 2011, when everyone in the world knew MJD was getting the ball, and put extra linebackers in the game to handle it, but they couldn’t stop him. No one could, and he gained 1606 yards, almost half the yardage made by Jags that year. Now IDK what gets someone in the HOF, but MJD has my vote. Thank you Maurice – for a brilliant year, and wonderful and inspiring career, and one hell of a treat.
