Love how the team obviously respects McDaniel. They’re all happy and rooting for each other. No egos in that room, only love of football and caring about each other and the game.
He brings a different aspect to coaching. Hes young & understands how to talk to these young men. Hes dope! 🔥

If they didn’t respect there coach or play hard for him then every game that we’re down we would’ve quit. Instead we strapped down & won each game. If Tua wasn’t hurt we easily could only have one loss.

@peter adams Yeah I hope so too. I feel bad for Marino. Such an amazing talent and never won a super bowl because his team wasn’t complete. I hope Tua don’t suffer the same fate. Tua is really a nice guy and I love him as our QB. And when given proper time Tua can throw deep. Did you watch the game against the Ravens? Tua threw 2 deep touchdowns to Tyreek Hill. It was amazing and electrifying. We came back from a 21 point fourth quarter deficit and Tua had 6 touchdowns. That was amazing and super clutch. That’s my quarterback!!!

I’ll say Tua really been slinging that football like Marino. Throwing in tight windows. No fear in slinging it. His accuracy is on point no matter the range. I don’t think he has a missed deep ball all season.

There is a video of Mike in HS playing football. He said in the video he was not going to make it as player in the NFL because of his size (something to that affect) .. So he decided he was going into coaching… Best thing that ever happened for Miami….
99.99% of high school players don’t make the nfl.
They showed his pee wee helmet, where he had stickers inside of all the NFL teams. And he wrote “I will make it”

I was in elementary school when Bob Griese was our quarterback, and I lived off Ives Dairy Road, all through the Dan Marino years I remember the orange bowl all the big games the Chicago Bears game and all the University of Miami games during the heyday. But it warms my heart to see the team that I love finally come into its own and we have a coach that seems to me is truly a players coach we are so very lucky to have him. Congrats to the players for pulling out this win. There’s a lot of us ol timers out here who are behind this and have waited so very long… Hat tip
