I agree with everything except not taking the FG, I think it was a good idea for them to be aggressive, they had all the momentum on their side, and their defense only held them to a TD on a short field.

@Matthew M this offense is too young and inexperienced to not take the easy points. Had they taken that FG, the game wouldn’t have come down to a last second interception, that’s factoring in the Gordon fumble. The margin for error is way too small

What’s tough is they lost with one second left on a penalty to the titans. And came within one play of beating the Steelers. 2 plays different he would be 6-4 heading to the playoffs. A thin line.

@Fall by the sword agreed….but he has not put together 2 solid performances back to back since last season. I will admit that other than the first possession today, he made good decisions and read the defense pretty well, but the real performance was the Oline. That was the best performance by a Bronco Oline since I can’t remember when. Especially the left side. Cush was finally solid in pass protection, Reisner looked like he was in last years form, and Bolles was performing in both run and pass like the #2 rated LT in football that he is. Bottom line, give Lock time, give him a run game and open up the playbook….and we could very well see more of this kind result.

I also wanted Justin feilds but that’s not really possible, Caleb is a beast though. And ojemudia needes to be replaced, guy dropped more picks then the falcons and chargers chokes combined💯😂

Highly doubt they wouldve taken a 2 point conversion attempt, doesnt make sense when they could play it safe with Fitzpatrick back in. But even so, when they chose not to go for the field goal, they were very very close to the end zone, giving then great field position. So even if they dont score or get a first down (like they did) the field position still favors them because the opposing team wouldve gained more yards if it was kicked.

In my humble opinion, if I were THE coach and my team is ONE play and TWO (2) yards away from a win with little time left to go in the game and kicking and making an extra point would only tie the score and send the game into overtime, I would go for the two point conversion for the win.

When I play any game I play to win. The closer I come to winning the better my chances are of winning.
I try to win all the time, specially if my team needs a win to restore its confidence.

In team games what matters most is the overall rational mindset of the entire organization, which is to WIN. Their is no other rational option, trust me.
Also, a kicker can miss an extra point too, they’re no longer chip shots.

My teams would always go for the wins. Specially during a drought in the win column. And moreover, with a fan base and organization that believe that their team is good enough and SMART enough to design and execute a successful two yard play at a high percentage level of success against any opponent.
All of my practice sessions would include two point conversion drills.

When my team is a mere six feet away from winning, I have them prepared to make the right play successfully.

The term losing is inconsequential.

Winning is the objective of the game, That’s the entire concept is to win.

BUT IN REALITY, THE HUMAN ASPECT OF THE GAME OF FOOTBALL FOR ITS FANS IS:
That it’s just a game that offers great pass time entertainment that will ultimately grow into an obsession.

@Ralph Padilla and that’s the point. Not every team is gonna make every 4th down conversion. I’m not sure which play you are talking about but at one point I believe during the 2nd quarter, the Broncos were in excellent scoring position, They were about a yard away for a first down and then it would’ve been 1st & Goal. If they have tried for a field goal, they would’ve only gotten three points and the Dolphins would’ve gotten the ball around the 25 most likely. However, they chose to go for it on first down but scored nothing, however, the field position for the Dolphins was worse than it would’ve been had the Broncos just taken the 3.
