Taylor runs a 4.6/40 – almost the same as Jalen Hurts, D. Jones only runs a 4.8/40 and is hugely successful with that extra blocker on the ground. Scott needs to get with the times and Run Taylor RUN!! (Designed and blocked run plays, not just read-options. Only a bit more-not a lot more). Taylor got about 20-30 yards per game on the ground in college – Commanders should NOT leave dozens of yards per game on the shelf in the Pros in their tight-margin, ball-control offense. Next year Commanders need to get Taylor a better pass blocking O-line – this year Commanders need to play to their run blocking strength and reasonably fast, talented, inspiring QB and RUN TAYLOR RUN!!
Spot on! The only thing I am not impressed with Taylor is his passe approach to film study. Every interview he eludes to getting away from the game to relax. Great QB’s (Manning and Brady’s) never missed an opportunity to study. He has the talent but needs to prepare as a starter.
