I’m loving the Cowboys draft so far. Tyler Smith is a big nasty run blocker and that’s what we were needing the most. Sam Williams had the 57 tackles, 15 TFL, 12.5 sacks(2nd highest among pass rushers in this draft), he also had 1 PD, 4 FF, 2 FR, 1 for a TD. Jalen Tolbert is a big playmaker, 82 rec, 1474 yds, 18.0 avg, 8 Tds. Great draft so far. Keep up the good work!
In all honesty ever since Texas I’ve always looked as Connor Williams as a pass block guard more than a heavy run blocker
Will is witty and a classy gentleman and his knack to identify talent are second to none.

I wouldnt say i LOVE The draft. Im a bit low on Tyler smith, mainly because i Just dont see him being effective for this season, everyone has kept saying he is a developmental project, so in a few years sure , but right Now im not sure.
I like The Sam williams pick because of two reasons. 1. Because dan Quinm spent time To work him out and decided he Wanted him ,2. Because i feel he could compliment micah To a Tee. I like edges who hunt qbs aggressively and his speed along with micah is going To devastate quarterbacks. I do also think Sam williams and Tyler smith are very strong charismatic kinda guys, mentality and mindset based on interviews show they have mental traits that are really valuable as people, friends , team mates , leader’s etc
And i Love The tolbert pick. We had alot of problems with drops etc in our offense and even though tolbert had some drop Numbers but in south Alabama The qb Play was not very good and also tolbert doesnt have To worry about being The number 1 option , meaning his catch radius works for us. Just overall at The 3rd round tolbert is amazing value pick.
So overall Its been a ok draft so far overall. There are some guys on The board still that i like and would like to see us pick in The 4th and 5th round specifically.
They aren’t getting enough credit. They really are great at drafting players. The problem has always been players translating what they are taught into the game on game day. Call it game day instincts. Somethings you just don’t know about until it comes. Some really slide under the radar with having bad game day instincts. But that just the nature of dealing with people. Which people tend to forget these players are. They are just people. Overall they are doing a damn good job with the draft this year without overreaching and overpaying for players.
