While you are probably right that they will lose…..”Any given Sunday” as they say…..I know I’d feel like the crappiest fan if I chose not to watch the game and they actually pulled out the win. So even though we’ll likely be disappointed again, I’ll always watch them because I support them no matter what. Besides, I want to see Micah pancake La’al and make him look silly!
Speaking for myself. After week 1 there’s such a multi tier mess there’s no single person that makes or blows this up. I’ve turned my back until they show ANY indication they can beat the top teams. It’s clear they can’t at this point this year or last! They beat up on sub 500 and good teams but when challenged by the top teams they don’t have the answers.
No one cares that you think they are not doing there job. They are almost always above 500 and that’s not an easy task. NFL is filled with parity so consistently having a winning record means you have a good front office

@coastiecop2000 You missed the mark. I’m a fan since 1965. What I know is they historically fail to fix mid-season issues. This has many layers to it and waiting for players to return is not the way to success. Still a fan but until they show they are serious how can a fan get behind it?

I think Kellen is the problem. He don’t commit to the run and makes the offense so predictable.

You don’t really believe that nonsense do you? If you didn’t know half your job, do you think your boss would keep you around? This is Mike’s 3rd year as the head coach. He’s spent months assessing players for their offense and he listens to every play called through the headset. He would literally have to be the dumbest coach in all of football to not know the offense at this point. That’s a ridiculous rumor and if you know anything about NFL football and what it takes to be a HC, you’d realize that that would be impossible.

“McCarthy only won the Super Bowl because of Aaron Rodgers” is like saying Sean Payton only won the Super Bowl because of Drew Brees. Of course Brees wasn’t the egomaniac that thinks the entire organization runs through him either. At the end of the day there are 2 people to blame for the mess the Cowboys have been for almost 3 decades. Jerry and Stephen Jones. Not McCarthy or even Moore. McCarthy is the HC in title only. Jerry calls the shots. Jerry insists on Moore being the OC. McCarthy has no power or authority. No coach has since Jimmy. Moore was far to inexperienced and lacked the confidence to be an OC in todays NFL. It doesn’t help with the roster the way it is. Jerry and Stephen care about headlines more than wins or championships. That’s how Jerry built this team into the most valuable team in all of sports. Marketing, Sponsorships, and media coverage. If winning titles meant anything to the Jones family we would have won at least won over the last 26 years. The salary cap is an excuse Stephen uses to keep this team down. When other teams can build title contending rosters like the Bills, Chiefs, Rams, or 49ers no one can tell me Dallas cannot. They CHOOSE to remain middle of the pack because controversy creates cash. Not even the Patriots are talked about as much as Dallas. They’re on every show every single day. Hell they get more media coverage then the Lakers do. As long as jerry and Stephen are in charge the Cowboys will never be more than a middle of the pack team.
People this was the first game against one of the top 5 defensive and offensive teams in the NFL. DALLAS GOT A GREAT YOUNG TEAM THAT WILL GROW TIGHTER IN CHEMISTRY AND MATURE AS A TEAM DURING THIS SEASON. AS A 40YEAR FAN I SEE A TEAM WITH THE SAME OC AND DC IN YEAR 3 . THIS IS NOT A JASON GARRETT TEAM BUT A MCCARTHY/QUINN TEAM.. FORGET WHAT THE MEDIA SAYS AND TRUST THE PROCESS AND COMMON SENSE APPROACH. EVERY YEAR PEOPLE CLOWN THE COWBOYS ON EVERY LEVEL AND SPortS TALK SHOW. In 3 years this team has gotten better and better.ITS NOT HOW YOU START BUT HOW YOU FINISH AND 3 OUT OF 6 YEARS IN THE PLAYOFFS MAKES A TEAM BATTLE TESTED AND STRONGER STRONGER..
