Amen. Nothing personal against Ron, but a coach should not have input. Especially one that just got here. And it is pretty obvious he had a lot of input. The only coach who should even have any input would be Coach Gibbs who brought this franchise championships and was here about 16-17 years total. The fans overall don’t like it, and many old players who played here don’t either. And they know it. Especially when seeing Jason Wright’s interview with JP Finley on day of the name change. But I guarantee they are not going to show anyone who hates new name.
I can’t lie. I dislike ( hate) the new name. They were talking about not choosing Wolves pr Red Wolves because of trade mark issues. That’s stupid. Pay whomever you have to pay to get the name. I mean Synder paid a fortune for overrated Albert Hansworth but can’t drop money concerning the very future of the franchise? Come on. And the colors look like USC colors. Hope it grows on me. Only thing that will heal it is winning.
Why don’t you poll fans and not each other? I have not met anyone who likes that name. Mixed reviews on the uniforms but frankly is that important? Fielding a winning team is what matters and the Skins have not done that in a long while.
