@Donovan Newton Pro Football Reference projected them to go 5-12 or better this year; I think the Lions could win 7-8 games next year. No playoffs but in the conversation until Week 17 like the ’21 Browns.

if you guys can resign Goff at an average QB’s salary rather than the ridiculous one he’s on right now, that would be perfect. Him and MCDC are starting to get chemistry, and considering the quarterback clusterfuck that’s going on right now, Goff might be a good long-term option.

@Ki11a TJ we lost 6 games 3pts or less. We have two first round picks and 10 picks total, a bunch of cap space and it will be Cambell and Brad Holmes second year. The fact that the players fought this weekend and won show you the culture has shifted. The bears and Vikings are rebuilding, Rogers is gone and the division is wide open now. Next seasons schedule is easy. Stfu boomer

Yeah if the last 2 games were any indication, he’s been a steady game manager who’s willing to take some changes and minimize turnovers. If he builds on this, there’s potential

I live in Vegas and just started to follow when they moved here?? It’s been 3 yrs
It would be a big mistake to turn over the roster too much this off season. It is the typical mistake the Lions make every year. As much as there were so many injuries and these players were practice squad players or 3rd, 4th string players, there were many that contributed at the end of the season and there was chemistry. To Not have these players on the team next season is like starting over. Just fill the weakest parts with the draft and allow players like Raymond, AJ Parker, Harris, etc. develop more.

Brad Holmes drafts smart. Linemen, defense, then skilled positions is how we ought to draft and I believe they will follow that script. If we can get Thibodaux instead of Hutchinson I’d climb up top the Chrysler building and Roar! Drafting smart is so much more important than hiring free agents. Free agents just kills our budget when our drafts grow out of their rookie contracts and keeping guys like Decker and Sewell etc is key! No line, doesn’t matter which free agents we sign if the quarterback is already sacked!
Well for once the lions have a competent front office. They rode with Parker in the beginning, and I think Raymond and Harris are resigned. Along with Walker and Reynolds.
Agree – let some of these dudes that showed promise prove they can bring it again and aren’t just one season wonders. Some might not work out, but I love how AG got that secondary playing. Will Harris gotta go though

Love this team. Love Dan. More importantly, PLAYERS love the guy. Free Agents are going to want to play for him. Most optimistic I’ve been in years. Can’t wait for next season.
@Kevin Bradley seems like Ross & Grier made the decision together to fire him, and apparently this was brewing more & more since the drafting of Tua when Flores was pushing for Justin Herbert and they just didn’t see eye to eye.

This is the best they’ve ever played, very few penalties. Good clock management, no stupid plays. Plus the trick plays, offence and defense complementary. Very entertaining to watch. With this formula no one is going to want to play to lions.

In my 20 years on earth I dont think I have ever been as excited for a lions team. Even in the era of Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford I can really feel the heart of this team
I’m 40 yeears old, played college ball til I was 22… been almost 20 years since I put my hand on the line… I’d try to run through a wall for this guy.
Can’t wait for the draft and can’t wait to comeback stronger next year. Lions forever!
