Aj Socool the last time the cardinals beat the lions was 5 years ago ( 2015). The cardinals have met the lions 4 times after that and resulting in L’s or a tie.. which it’s pretty crazy.

@Yeelicious – I’ll take your word for it on that, but the Lions and Cardinals have played each other almost every year for about the last 15, and the Cardinals have won a lot of them, more than the Lions.

@KetuBann He was robbed a playoff victory against the cowgirls (picked up flags), he is the fastest QB to 25k yards in history, he has the most comeback wins since 2011. If he had a better team and coach, he would be a top 5 QB !

Lions fans “Stafford is no Drew Brees” meanwhile they ignore drew brees went 7-9 for 4 out of five years from 2012-2016. Only really won when his defense stopped being garbage. Also I don’t think he’s quite his level, but just proving a point that even a qb of his level needs help to win games.
For the past 3-4 seasons, Detroit is always that team that can both upset playoff contenders and lose to really bad teams

They really really need a pass rusher. I say trade for one if your are the GM in Detroit. That’s really all their missing and just consistency. The offense still left plays out there even w Golladay. I don’t see this team making the playoffs, but I’d rather see the coach and GM try and go out fighting.

I dont get why the Cards looked for KeaSean Johnson so much, 7 targets 2 Rec and the rest of the offence 5 inc combined, I mean he just wasnt able to get open and Kyler just passed to him way too much, that deep pass attempt on a 3rd down when Isabella was open for the 1st down was so annoying. I know Kirk was out this game but Andy played so well and Larry only had 3 targets and instead you look for KeaSean… that just doesnt make any sense to me.
@yunghollow72 I agree. I think Isabella has great hands and runs impeccable routes. Seems to have some good second gear type speed as well, once he gets out past the secondary. He has gotta be the number 3 guy if it were my call.

Murray is a one to two read QB so far, I’m not saying he isn’t better then that but they had no preseason. All the QB’s have been off, even Brady.
Especially when you consider Hopkins doing what he always does catch everything coming his way, while under utilizing fitz.. shouldn’t have been a loss for the cards, bad coaching.

@lewylui Yea, the vikes starting schedule is absolutely brutal this year… and even though our next game is against an 0-3 team it’s still the Texan’s who have a fairly talented QB in Watson. Then after that is the Seahawks…. I wouldn’t be surprised if we went 0-5 to start this year.
Honestly though, I do have some small hopes… we put up a great game versus the titan’s. We only lost due to a few critical errors, mostly with our O-line…

@Duy Linh Chu Ha what you seem to be saying is that because Stafford does not have running back skills like a few of the quarterbacks now, that he cannot and will not be successful, so he’s done. Wrong. Coaches have been trying to implement the mobile quarterback now for 30 years, and it wasn’t until Cam Newton to some degree, and Russell Wilson that there was finally a quarterback with enough throwing ability to force defenses to honor that, and thus make the running ability effective. A mobile quarterback has won exactly one Super Bowl so far(unless you count Steve Young), I don’t consider Mahomes particularly fleet of foot either. It still remains to be seen that a truly effective scrambling quarterback can be elite at the position besides Wilson. You HAVE TO be able to throw well to do so. Stafford absolutely has the ability to take a team all the way, if only they would put a team around him!
Another way to put your comment in perspective, there was quite a bit of national media talk about him being an MVP candidate last year before he went out with the injury at midseason. An MVP candidate from last year is done??
