I mean damn they threw 35 passes. It’s not like they weren’t throwing it. That’s on pace for 595 passing attempts in a season. That would’ve been 10th in the nfl last year. They threw 37, 34, 41 and 39 times in the previous 4 games so 35 is about normal for them.
@No One This is what will happen. We will hear for two weeks about how they are “putting in the work” and whatever else. Then comes game time. They’ll come out like world-beaters for the first drive and likely score a TD. They’ll have some massive celebration for it. Then they’ll lose per usual and we’ll be treated to the same post-game pressers we’ve treated to for the last 60 years. Cowboys will absolutely pummel them in two weeks.
I didn’t really practice all week…and it shows. I didn’t really coached this week…and it shows. I didn’t get the best fitted FAs for the DETROIT LIONS…and it shows. I went O for…on fourth down and should have went for the points…that showed. No faith in the kickers and scripted their defense to be that good…that showed. Matt Patricia owned Detroit with a huge goose egg…that showed. Makes you wonder if the Lions ever knew that the Patriots cheated in the past or just suck this bad and then some because its not gonna be easy the rest of season and they not gonna feel sorry.
So disheartening. I can’t keep defending the guys when you see games like this.

I refuse to play lions games in my home. My kids will never see this team. This curse ends with me. I finally stopped buying Sunday ticket two years ago. This year, I’ve only watched one game. Hopefully next year I won’t even listen or look up scores. It’s a slow process but I know in the end it’s the right decision. This team is only going to make people upset and angry, it’s best to just walk away and not engage. Find a new hobby.

Matt Patricia was a horror of a coach, we can all agree. But Campbell is just as bad of an in game guy—with a friendlier personality.
Can we finally agree with that? Way too many people made Campbell prove nothing and now many are seeing the alternative to brown grass is sometimes more brown grass.

Its one thing to lose a hard fought, well coached game.. Its and entirely different thing to bet blanked against a 3 string QB and do things like going for it on 4th & 9. And as far as playoffs are concerned get that out of your head right now or its going to be a very long, disappointing season Lions fans.
