nah I’m good with who we have..most of these college coaches don’t translate well..I’m not saying I would’ve been upset with Riley but this team is competitive now..rather not wait to see if a college coach would work out and have to hire again in a few yrs..McCarthy is a legit coach with a ring..and let’s not forget as the OC he coached Aaron Brooks to a division title and a playoff win..this team is in good hands imo

@Omar Perez yeah for sure..could be even more than that..think Rodgers being so tough to deal with had alot to with how things ended in GB..we’ll see what happens but I think an old school, experienced, tough coach is what this team needed right now as opposed to some young college guy..guess we’ll find out soon
Maybe down the road, but Dallas nor Riley had interest. Dallas wanted to win now, and there is a transition from college to the NFL. Two Riley had no desire to leave Oklahoma yet.

Kellen Moore has been pretty good as OC , for now at least, but if McCarthy doesn’t work out as HC I’d take Riley in his place
No way Riley leaves Oklahoma to take an OC job regardless if it’s Dallas.
After McCarthy wins a couple Super Bowls and retires, good to see we are keeping tabs on Coach Riley for when he’s ready to make the jump in 5-10 years.

Hey Ash! I know what you mean about accuracy. Dak had a few less than accurate passes over the middle that cost us, but he has gotten way better at the deep ball. Kitna really helped him open up his game. I think Dak will impress you this year. And CeeDee has a huge catch radius that will help him out.
@Tom Theobald I agree Tom & Dak has improved every year & I think he’s going to continue to do so. He’s really only had a problem with one or two certain passes and I think he’ll conquer that challenge. I’ve been a big Dak fan since his rookie season and will continue to support him.

Great to hear from the HC of 2 of the top players we drafted and his take on their talent and motivation/work ethic. I definitely think we stole two outstanding players AND outstanding young men to integrate into our team. Both players will have great veterans to learn from, especially Gallimore with his fellow alumni Gerald McCoy. And I cannot wait to see Cee Dee on the field with the ball in his hands! I haven’t looked so forward to a season since we drafted Emmitt and since we drafted Tony Dorsett. Once we get Dak squared away, Zeke and the team should be fired up as hell to get out there and run the Offense. I’ll bet Dak is privately chomping at the bit! If we are able to win a Super Bowl in the next 2 or 3 years, players will want to come play for us so bad it’ll be ridiculous! 😉
