I dont want to overthink this too much or be over critical but Fournette should have (logically) led the league in rushing or be top 3 last year. I say that because he broke off many runs this past year and even early in the season coach was like we gotta give him a chance, then I remember week 11, and Fournette has 4 Carries for about 20 yards going into halftime because we got pass happy in a game that was just 7 – 10. Maybe they wanted to get Foles some work in and the season was pretty much over with for us but I’d hope that we’d try to compete. Then the offseason comes and they’re trade rumors going around and the same people saying the oline needs to give him a chance are now saying they are unhappy with his production……. very confused. I love Fournette, I wish him well, I just don’t know what’s going on in Duvall right now.
He literally had a 225 yard rushing game and finished the league 7th in rushing with 1,040 rushing yards, there shouldn’t be any fuss about how good he’s playing.
