It wasn’t the heat for ole Leo… It was him being a young thunder cat and “goin’ too hard in the PAINT!” LOL … Ah La Jared Allen? Solidifies the LB core. The Quiet leader at Mike, the Wild Man Joker at Will , and The Nut Bag with a High motor in Leo at the Sam. Ignore his flags during the season.

If he can, really anchor down the line of scrimmage… it will free up Gay to run the field. We already know Bolton will be in the right spot. Linebacker crew could be a strength for the defense.

Leo is good in front of the camera. Can’t wait to see him get violent in a game.
Anyone else getting a “Rudy” vibe from this guy? Really likeable, hard worker, extremely high motor….. Just blessed with an actual football frame, unlike the real Rudy.
I may be way optimistic here, but I’m calling it. We may be looking at the next Clay Mathews.
If his style of play transfers to the Chiefs, the pass rush is going to be vastly improved.
Definitely knows where he lacks and what people are worried about and that is his pass defense. If he can get that figured out, he could be a great addition to an already stout LB group. Or they can move him to edge. Move into Frank Clarks position.
The hitting and tackling to the ground as an emphasis and theme of the free agents and draft is awesome. Really looking forward to seeing this defense improve and gel as unit this season

Defensive rookie of the year caliber! Haven’t seen him play with chiefs yet, but he seems smart, loves football and his college film shows his unique abilities.
Leo is probably the player I’m most excited to see added to the team this year. If he lives up to expectations and Gay stays healthy KC will have the best linebacker corps in the NFL. I think other teams will overlook him and he will make them pay.
