When your receivers can’t get any separation and can’t catch you can’t blame him. Payton Manning was 3 and 13 his first year and 13 and 3 in his second year.
Can’t wait for the draft, free agency, etc. Defense is starting to jell. Offense has got some real pieces in place. Need two more wide receivers with speed, which hopefully will happen. Robinson is awesome. ETN will be back next year. Trevor is learning and our TE, Dan Arnold is showing good stuff. No reason to think that this team is headed any direction other than up. Next year we will contend for the division and continually get better after that. We have played our entire division once, and lost every one. Second time through, we should get one or two. We’ll get a few more this year, but once we have some receivers who can get some separation, look out. Go Jags!
By year 3 Trevor Lawrence will become the best Quaterback in the NFL. I really love Coach Meyer I believe that Lawrence progressing and becoming the best Quaterback in football Urban will take the Jaguars to the Super Bowl by year 3 mark my words

Urban Meyer is hindering Lawrence’s growth. How can you teach somebody to be an NFL QB when you aren’t an NFL coach

Trevor will be fine. He definitely could work on accuracy and he’ll admit that but we definitely need to acquire a #1 receiver for him in the offseason. Marvin Jones is good but more of a #2 receiver in my opinion. It just seems really difficult for our receivers to find ways to get open especially on plays where Trevor gets outside the pocket and no one coming back towards the ball
