The hasn’t been great as of late, but its better than average on the whole. If he can’t behind a line this good, he may not be the right QB. This line at least started out as probably the best line we’ve had since 2007
In 40 years watching the NFL I had never seen a QB spike at the 1 yard line on 3rd down. After Trevor spiked the ball my dad and I stared at each other in dead silence periodically looking at the TV then back at each other until the game was over. The silence was deafening.
He’s not NFL game mgr smart like Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady at least not yet.
That spike wouldn’t have happened if O’Shaughnessy wasn’t made of glass and didn’t get injured which wasted our last TO. Also why did we decide to run the ball at the 50 which in turn made us lose 15 seconds of game clock

While not always the best idea, I see it 3-4 times a year. Most of the time it’s the best option.

Trevor Lawrence is the antithesis of Baker Mayfield. Trevor comports himself like a veteran when talking to the media even with the team losing almost every week he doesn’t lose his temper or lashes out at reporters like Mayfield does. I’m excited for the years ahead and seeing Trevor development with a new HC
I hope he doesn’t get in his head… They seemed jinxed.. next year’s gotta be better.

Good for him to be positive. I’ve been told by various people that know him he is always positive and was a great student and person overall. Hang in there kid, it will get mush better for you.
He keeps his head up but you can see the light leave his eyes when his passes are dropped. He doesn’t trust his receivers and some of these guys but he’s so capable. He is playing down rn w this team.
21 points and almost scoring to win the game is definitely a improvement

I was at the game, I feel bad for Trevor lol I think his confidence is seriously down throwing deep balls. He barely threw the ball at all he had to pass off. He panics which is so unusual for a guy with great accuracy who at the beginning of the season we saw throwing darts. But then there’s the reality of what he’s working with….he’s got no one who gets open enough. He’s got receivers that can’t catch a ball. All this aside, I still think Trevor takes the off-season to build his confidence back up, get support from an incredible team of coaches, gets some new weapons in the draft. This guy is going to be great. I still trust him but it’s been a battle for the guy, none of us would wanna be in his position.
This was a much better week tho. The guys are improving.

Trevor Lawrence has a long way to go. Spiking the ball with 12 seconds left was the dumbest move he could make and there’s no second guessing it. If anything- fake spike it- and if nobody is open- throw the ball out of the endzone and you still have 1 play left. Just a waste. Jaguars are so poorly coached and such a pathetic franchise. Total mess.
reminds me of jameis winston in every way.. but he is white so the media wont focus on him too hard
