O’Brien is mentally sick
It’s hard to get excited about the Texans because of O’Brien. Hopkins was the heart of this team. I sigh as well 😔.

@Blame The only person allowed to be the heart of the team is Bill O’Brien. Clowney was the first player drafted in 2014, and Bill threw him out like trash. Now we are trading away our future draft choices to help Bill hid his poor planning skills.
O’Brien was hired to bring the Patriots offense to Houston. Apparently Bill doesnt know how to coach that. He brought in former Patiot QBs Hoyer and Mallet and it was an unpracticed weekly clown show.
Watson was not really taught that offense in his rookie preseason. In week 1 they threw Watson in and the Texans ran the Clemson offense.
Anyone that plays fantasy football knows that Hopkins produces so well that he acheived success regardless of the quarterback.
Watson is so under-valued by O’Brien that Watson is asked to play with ribs that are cracked so bad that he can’t fly on the team plane. Watson’s improvisational skills are great, but it is hard to repeatedly watch such a talented player undergo so many career-shortening game plans.
On one Hopkins touchdown last year, Hopkins told the media that he saw another team do that play so he and Watson worked on running it. I can’t help but think that saying that to the media placed him on O’Brien’s trade list.

Love the positive outlooks of the current roster for Texans. On paper it looks very exciting. Good vibes with the in-depth talk guys. Been sitting at home sports deprived. Please save me some more lol. Got me pumped!

Yes that hopkins trade was bad no debate because we left money on the table. HOWEVER, we have to look at the big picture. Its clear that o’Brian wants a smashmouth offense and apparently doesnt like the o line prospects this year sooooo he invest in a rb that at his worst can still catch a ball and put his head down and go. Now all our wrs have speed and I’m betting on more te involvement and Cobb in the slot so it eliminates having to launch the ball every other play when 1st and 2nd down runs didnt go anywhere. Our offense is evolving and we should at least give it a chance
