I donโ€™t watch for much of the analytical stuff but it would help to know what the lingo is. I donโ€™t know what these are or what they mean: blitz, chip, touch pass, 2nd and 10 (2nd attempt to get 10 yards), etc. Maybe I need a football game book for learners-no dummy๐Ÿ˜†. Sometimes, when offense is on the field and get off just as quickly, I canโ€™t understand what the heck happened! It would help when looking back at replays-the areas done well or those that need correction.

This was a blitz because the defense sent in 5-6 guys instead of just maybe their defensive line players. A chip is where you hit a player to impede him but you’re not going to just try to block him the whole time. Normally you see a tight end chip a defensive end so this was a little different (the TE being “chipped”). If you hear 2d and 10 or 2d and 14 that means it’s second down and you have to go 10 yards or 14 yards to get another first down. Someone will probably explain it better but I hope this helps:)
