He said that because these two guys are run blockers that destroy the guy their run blocking against. Jenkins is a down right sick run blockers. A qbs best friend is not his wife receivers or even his offensive lineman. No his best friend is a great running game. With a great running game you will kill the pass rush when you go to play action (which nagy uses a lot). These are nagy’s picks as well as fields. Nagy picked fields as wee as both of these two offensive lineman. He know that if Montgomery is able to destroy in the running game that teams can’t just focus on the qb. Now don’t get me wrong. Jenkins also is sick in pass protection. So he actually was a gift to fields as well as to Montgomery. I’ve done my homework on jenkins. For my money he was the best offensive line man in the draft and will be a probowl selection his first yr. Yes folks, he’s that good….
