@EvilLamar To be honest, if not for 24 players on injury we’d be the #1 team by far. It’s a miracle we have the record we do in spite of that. I doubt anyone else would have a winning record with that many players missing

As a quarterback I’ve notice lamar likes the deep ball. But he’s always in shotgun when rn his arm isn’t as strong as a mahomes. But if he has a 6 step drop back it gives the Qb more power to sling dat thang. All I’ve seen from Roman this year is shotgun. He needs to understand Lamar’s strengths and weaknesses when he makes plays and calls to be successful

He left more then a handful of throws out there.there were wr’s open on alot of plays (deep,short,middle of the field)Lamar was completely missing the hot route on almost every single blitz and the hot routes he did throw to he threw to them way to late so it ended as incomplete or a minimum gain.its an easy fix,this whole week Harbaugh should have the defense blitzing Lamar and showing where he needs to go with the ball.i also believe Harbaugh needs to inform roman that he needs to add more screens and qb roll outs away from the blitz.then I think he’ll be just fine

@nikeguy2 also idk about the other guy but i played ball, fact that youre saying they should “throw in the towel” in any way shows no understanding of the teams mentality as football players, theyre gonna try and win every game regardless of the circumstances, thats the approach theyve had all year and theyre 8-4 despite being decimated

@Matt Bergamin Hey listen, go out there and try to win but be smart and play safe, live to fight another day. Lamar rushing for us to win needs to go out the window. I know you can’t ask players to “give up” but the front office needs to know risking player safety to get lucky for one playoff win isn’t worth Lamar risking a torn ACL running the ball to make a play or getting designed QB keepers.

Win with his arm and allow scrambles to come from coverage, if it fails, it fails. At this point, lets develop Lamars arm and get him to read defenses from the spread in some live reps for film next season. These coaches are turning into degenerate gamblers.

@nikeguy2 thats what theyve been doing lamar hasnt rushed all that much the last few games, and in many instances where they could put the ball in his hands (inside the 5 for example) theyve been handing it off instead. They’re an NFL franchise so in their eyes a super bowl run is always possible (and it is) so theyre gonna play to win the super bowl. even though for us fans it might be smarter to regroup for next year since they’ll be much better equipped, theyre not going to do that especially when they’re fighting for a #1 seed late in the year. that means this team is still really good and can beat anyone, that we know for a fact

@Matt Bergamin He had 21 carries against CLE and 8 vs PIT… before that he had 9. They’re still running from the pistol and play fakes from it in bunch formations. You see that final play vs PIT? That’s an RPO, Watt bites on Freeman and Lamar keeps it. Call passes, in pass formations and maybe the lanes to scramble will open up..

For us fans it might be smarter? Buddy for the team OWNER it would be smarter to regroup. You’re completely insane if you think every NFL team actually believes they can win on any given Sunday. This is where I know you haven’t played football and you watch too many movies or you must be a lineman.

Play like a Raven, among other things, basically means perseverance. Lewis and Reed got the defense to come out play full throttle on every play, even when the offense couldn’t be relied on. Eventually that created a culture of just balling out and playing for your team because they don’t point fingers. The people at the top set the example and “Played like Ravens” and the whole team adopted that mentality. Play for your team on every down until you win the SB, and eventually they did.

What I love about this team is that Lamar has recreated this same style of leadership, because it’s already in him. So the tradition contributes.. Anyone can see this team is facing an uphill battle for various reasons. But you have to think on the other side of this, it’s also showing the integrity of the locker room.. losses are team building experiences. That’s possible because of Lamar.
