One of the worst WR groups last year and what did they do? They got rid of his best WR. Now it’s even worse. I like Duvernay but he’s basically a gadget/slot guy. Bateman can’t catch a cold. They barely play Proche.
The o line is better than last year but inconsistent. Ronny Stanley is often injured.
RB wise, JK and Gus Bus are solid but always hurt. Drake and Hill are built like WR.
It’s basically just Lamar, Mark and a bunch of guys.
Lamar Jackson was sensational this game. He made so many big time throws, his legs were great, the Offense finally looks good. Ravens bludgeoned the Buccaneers Run Defense in the 2nd Half. And I have to give credit where credit is due. Greg Roman called a phenomenal game in the 2nd Half. Everyone is talking about the Bills and Chiefs being the Next Patriots vs Colts, But they forgot that the Steelers won 2 Superbowls in that time span. Ravens are dangerous. I hope they win the superbowl and prove me wrong every week.

Ravens don’t have a WR1 but look at what an elite QB like Lamar Jackson does. He elevates the talent of everyone around him. Andrews and Bateman were out with injuries, so Duvernay and Likely and Robinson ate. I love the way he’s been playing football since 2021. Consistency will come, and it’ll be over.

@Thomas Sankara I’m just happy Likely and Duverney and Drake and Hill is getting their shine. Gus is great as always (hope he’s ok). Having Mandrews out was kind of a blessing in disguise since Lamar pretty much opened up the rest of the offense not geared towards Mark. I hope he and the team picks up from here and incorporate everybody more in the passing game now.
@Rob Banks no he’s saying the guy listed at number 1 on the depth chart was injured. He’s been injured since the bills game. He tried to go this game but was hobbled so they took him out

The key was the short throws to the sideline to the wrs. Running wr screens will open things up. Gro called a good game last night. I’d love to see more screen and throws to the sidelines to open up the middle of the field. Robinson had a few screens threw to him where he picked up some good yac.

He doesn’t care about MVP anymore. He is chasing the Superbowl. Also, the past 22 League MVPs haven’t won the Superbowl in the same season.

Lamar Jackson & Mark Andrews is definitely a Hall of Fame QB/TE Tandem..
Shows that he can make it happen with a team of backups at the skill positions. If this isn’t an indication to pay him his worth then Baltimore just needs to trade him.
Lamar played so good without the favorites tonight. It’s sad to say but without Andrews and even Bateman, it seemed he had to find other options in Robinson, Proche and Likely. These were 3 guys I was pulling for to get more opportunities. Duvernay has been showing more and more versatility… said we needed to find ways to use him like DEEBO. But the X factor was Gus and LJ running game that we dominated with his rookie year. I feel like they should’ve never went away from Gus as a lead back with Lamar. We seen the magic the last two weeks. I hope Gus is OK ultimately. As well as Andrews. But I love what I’m seeing out this offense we just have to execute consistently.

Man! I’m a believer in the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. What a great game. Lamar Jackson has come along wonderfully.
So sad he’ll never get the respect he deserves when he doesn’t even have a top 20 receiver. I feel so bad from him it’ll never be enough for the media and haters.
