I don’t blame Rodgers if he leaves. Theres such a huge drop off after Adams. Look what tee Higgins could have done. He has 1,999 yards and 12 td’s in his first two seasons. U get a guy like that on a 4 year rookie contract. And they take love and give up a 4th rd pick. Such a horrible draft. Rodgers might as well go to buccaneers or Broncos where there’s actually weapons to throw to

I think Smiths gotta go and Aaron needs to take a pay cut. Not a huge one. But definitely need some extra help to get a better team out there. Especially with Davante, gonna be making a lot more if we keep him or not

Defense doesn’t win anything anymore

It would be nice if Rodgers an Lafluer would stop giving us false hopes we know Rodgers is a coward so he probably won’t be back if we lucky maybe Matt Lafluer will be fired

@jay 1988 It sure does, Tom Brady has never won a SB with a defense ranked lower than 8th. Packers haven’t had a D ranked that high since the last SB. D showed up vs SF, no one else did.

@Merlin Ames Green bay and Tennessee didn’t get 1 seeds because of defense. Rodgers is the MVP and before Henry got hurt he was probably the #2 mvp. The 2 seeds were Brady and Mahomes other division winners were Stafford Burrow Josh Allen.

@jay 1988 why do people think that just because Rogers is an elite quarterback they should have been the favorites throughout most of these years in the playoffs? I remember many years where Green Bay came in as the clear underdog and needed every ounce of Roger’s magic to even make the playoffs. I wish Green Bay had maybe not gone on some of those crazy playoff runs when everyone knew they had no chance and maybe got some more upper tier talent for down the road. Rogers is one player and many times was the only player that had an edge on the other teams roster. Green Bay was consistently the worst defense, least physical and overly reliant on their quarterback of the playoffs in all but maybe three or four of the 20 some odd playoff games they appeared in with Rodgers. Had they maybe brought in a few free agents when Rogers was in his prime and didn’t draft so poorly on defense, they might have had the teams to compete with some of the other squads. Rogers won a super bowl with McCarthy for Christ’s sake and was a complete and utter meltdown from their special teams away from being in a second super bowl with McCarthy as their head coach. Usually the games that Green Bay was favored going in the playoffs that they lost those teams were either super bowl champs or very close to being the best team in the league as well so again I’ve never seen Green Bay go into the playoffs and lose to a team that was a decided underdog in any year I could think of in all reality. It’s a team sport.

Special Teams was horrible but it shouldn’t have come down to that. If the offense can’t score more than 1 TD they are not playoff ready. The horrible Offense is why the Pack lost.

I feel bad for the guy because I really liked him in interviews, but there is a 99.99% chance he is fired within the next two weeks. You don’t just fire a guy right after a playoff game.

I think the special teams issue has a lot to do with salary cap and not being able to have depth in the team.

You are right. Packers have been 20th or worse in special teams in 6 of last 8 years. They were last this year. This was my biggest worry.

The special teams weren’t even close to ordinary all season. They were probably the worst special team in the league for the last 10 years and certainly this season. The players on the team knew it and many of the starters said they wanted to play on them.

Bart Starr would have won that game, Arod is a choke artist.

I agree with you , I was thinking about this while watching Matt Stafford findingaway when everything was going wrong, to lead his team down field to get the winning td , in the superbowl. He wasn’t going to give up.

It’s a different Era but I could imagine coach Lombardi handling Arron with less love and holding him accountable, not putting him on a pedestals

Before preseason Rodgers alluded to possibly retireing. My feeling is when you are thinking about it you have already done it. There was no passion in 12 in that 4th quarter.

Exactly i agree. You gota stay in the game and stay in that combat zone. Otherwise you get too soft, too quick.

Well said. I think a team should approach every game with a winner’s mindset. It’s also not fair to the fans who spent a bunch of money to see their team put a lesser product on the field. That might have some fans’ only chance to see the Pack at Lambeau.

Lafleur needs some old school methods mixed in with his innovative coaching style. You can’t be afraid of injuries and holding people accountable when they don’t give a 110%. Coach Lombardi never did. That is what gave G.B. the name Title Town.
