It’s pathetic that people continue to ask him the same questions when they know how he’s going to answer.
LaFleur needs to get in Joe Barry’s face like he did early in the season. Joe got things together for a number of weeks after LaFleur told him he’s gone if things don’t change. Joe has fallen back into his passive self. He needs another wake up call. Hopefully LaFleur gives him that over this bye week.
Judging by how mad LaFleur at defense was about the trick plays vs the Lions. I’m sure he and Joe had private words after the game.
@suiko2fan2 I hate that they are playing so soft the most. It’s one thing to blow a coverage here or there. It’s a whole other thing when teams start to be able to do what they want GB been giving up way too much.

I understand LaFleur’s concern with the defense and yeah the Lions’ two old fashioned trickery touchdown plays played mind games with the defense. I’ve seen the Lions execute that same move two years ago. I wasn’t technically upset at the defense’s performance yesterday, but yes, LaFleur, the defense will learn their lesson once Za’Darius Smith returns to the active roster and they’ll review the week 18 tapes before and during bye week in the first round of playoffs.
Every Packer fan was disappointed on the packs D yesterday. It very concerning when you have a defense that gave up 90% of the 3rd downs. You can’t championships playing like that, but hey we’re getting many key players back and I think the defense understand they gotta improve on 3rd down stops. We’ll be fine.
True. The defense better make some interceptions going forward since I noticed them not making some turnovers despite intercepting Baker Mayfield four times. At least I was very thrilled with Jordan Love taking action in the second half by throwing a touchdown but unfortunately it ended on a bad note when he threw a couple of interceptions.
Tbh it was week 18 with no playoff hopes for the lions. Of course they’re gonna pull all the tricks out of the hat. You’d never see that earlier in the season or even in the playoffs. Those are the wrinkles you save for the end of a close game or in a close playoff game. The lions had the luxury of using them all in one game. Props to them for executing. Now let’s go win a championship. GPG!

I hope not I want him to become Jordan Love. Each Of our Great QBs have been different but similar. He needs to find what sets him apart, find a style of play it’s important, he has most of the tangibles, and some intangibles, this is a guy who can win with the right coach
The only real obstacle I see in the coming weeks is COVID… Matt…given the year that has been YOU Earned Coach of the Year…No Doubt at all!

Defense will need to play more sound and not give up those big plays.. We have elite talent on that side of the ball and with key pieces coming back we should be okay heading into the Postseason?

I also am Very Critical of the Defense but you have to realize how Important Devondre Campbell has been when he is not there!!! I Expect the Unit to be Juiced Up with the Potential of Z and Alexander to Lend a Hand – Could Make the Difference

Our defense was playing so well until the first Vikings game, Zimmer and Cousins really exposed us….
if we look back at all the games this year we see a disturbing trend for the defense end of games.
against the 49ers, great D until the 4th Q, then knife through butter syndrome, needing Rodgers heroics to pull out the W.
vs Cards, another great game but allowing opps to almost come back again.
Almost capped a huge win vs Chiefs, until Mahomes picks up last 1sn down.
vs Vikes, D holds firm, almost gets an Int, but next play a huge sideline pass to Thielen for FG
vs Rams, huge lead almost gone by allowing 2 long TDs on blown coverages.
Ravens and Browns almost come all the way back on huge plays.
Yes I agree with coach LaFleur! You need those best 11 out there! Praying for healing. Go Packers Go!
