This guy hasn’t made ANY difference in the secondary creating turnovers or even covering to their capabilities. It’s easy to look good under Pete Carroll with guys like Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman in the secondary. This version of the Tampa defense is antiquated and Marinellli is a fossil now.

All he has control over is the DB’s. Not the front four (DE) not the Safety’s, not the Linebackers. Your argument would be valid if he had full control of the defense, which he does not.
This guy has done his part in football people have to understand the players sometimes have do their part too when he has full control over the defense you’ll see a bigger difference

Really was pushing for this guy for Head Coach BUT after this season IDK. Even thou he’s a DC for the secondary he should really be the in the face of all the Defense players and some offensive players… Give me Rex Ryan because he’s the only guy that would challenge Jerry Jones. But Jerry ain’t going for a Head Coach with the gonads to put him in his place.

So we failed in all areas…. A lot of motivation… but not A lot of manifestation…. Next season less talk more action….

If the offense plays what is normally expected with a good offense this year, Dallas has home field advantage! They win nearly all of their games. The defense only allowed 17 to Philly- the offense should have scored at least 2 tds and 2 or 3 field goals to easily defeat Philly. No excuse for such abysmal play from their offense! The defense was up and down but they clearly played well enough for their offense to win nearly all their games. Even the media is dumbstruck over this offense’s self DESTRUCTION. In over 50 years of watching Dallas, only one season was as disappointing as this one- the year DANNY WHITE had a career ending wrist injury, Dallas was easily the best team that year. Really, several years under Danny that Dallas was a play or two away from winning NFC championship where Dallas would have had 9 or 10 superbowls by now. But, seasons simply being flushed down the toilet have been this one and the one that ended Danny Whites career!
