@Joshua Blakely he shouldn’t leave his team in such close games all the time. Kirk demanded so much of the salary cap we had to give up a lot on defense. He certainly doesn’t make up for those losses with his talent like true elite QBs

@C Pope Cousins 103 4th q rating 8th in the league. 3rd and long for 1st down, 10th in the league, better than Jackson, Mahomes and Rodgers, 105 QBR in the red zone, and on and on. Kirk is top 10 or better in nearly every category. He needs a D and a center.

@Big boy BigYou are straight trippin now!!! How long has Jackson been in the league? How long has Kirk been in the league. Jackson had never missed the post season in his entire career. You see, his team somehow got significantly better when he took over for the Ravens. Had he not got hurt he would have made the playoffs again in a stiff division. His W/L record-no comparison. His point differential, off the charts! Teams actually prepare for this dude specifically. And to see him lose his two backs and lineman, and top defensive player plus tons of others rotating in and out, he was still winning although not as pretty!!!! He got even more respect from me. And all I hear on your side after Kirk has JJ and Thielen, and Cook and nothing is ever enough or Kirks fault. If someone is missing a shoestring on the Vikings that day, it’s thier fault not Kirks job to win. He has won the division twice in a stiff division. And he beat you guys playing on 3 tires last season and no excuses allowed. If you guys stop making excuses for Kirk Cousins convenient high stats but consistent losses to teams that make the playoffs then I would leave him alone. But the excuses for him playing y’all like a fiddle with empty stats is sickening. He safely plays within his surrounding talent. Take away Cousins top 3 players and he will sink like an anchor. But, he knows how to make easy safe completions!!! Stop it!!!! Clue-this is how you really know you have a good QB or player….You dont need to look at a single stat. You see it in the moments!!! Baller!!! Jackson 1st team all-pro, first team pro bowl, unlike Kirk an alternate selection. Lamar Jackson as a player is fire!!! And lastly the intangibles, “you want to go for it….Damn right!!”

@Youtube GM Did you see that. clip in the highlight film. Cousins 7 Burrow 21 3rd period 2:30 seconds…generally the point the other teams defense and offense go on a little slacking break. Now, the cubic zirconia knows this detail, so he has a few moments. Blake Bortles went to the conference championship game with a good defense and almost beat Bill Belichick and the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl. Any QB with the right combination as long as they are in the NFL can make it there. Jimmy G has won the conference championship and almost won it a 2nd time on a less than perfect team. Heck even the Rams quickly realized Stafford and the team they had was not going to be enough to win the SB, sooooooooo, they added extra mid season, aka, Von Miller, and Odell. So, we all know by now that Cousins is not going to win anything, (he has not even been the best in his own division) he possibly could if you put together a super team on both sides and super coaches, but so could Blake Bortles. next!!!

@Youtube GM Do people give Mahomes as a QB of the Chiefs the credit for putting his mediocre team (Alex Smith led) and coach over the top? Or is it really his super team. The vikings has as many solid players as the Chiefs, just not the same QB. Do you believe you would have made the playoffs this season with Mahomes as QB of the Vikings and every single thing else the same? Just trying to open your eyes to the impact a QB must have on his team to be considered top anything.

Everyone listen up, let’s examine Matthew Stafford for a minute. Dude put up great numbers year after year but at the end of the day the Lions sucked. His first year with a new team he wins the super bowl! Let’s see what Cousins can really do with an offensive minded coach who he actually likes and hopefully the whole team gets behind.

@LivingCountry he barely won and even the coach realized Stanford who is better than cousins and certainly has more balls and leadership, would not be able to get the job done after a half year with them. That is why he brought in some more all pros. Even then they almost lost. We all saw Carson Wentz go to the Super Bowl with the rams coach and less talent and almost won as well. Funny how you selectively ignore that comparison.

@Bryce2428 That has as much to do with play calling and offensive line play as the QB. It’s not all on the QB. 3rd down is critical, the other team knows this too and tries to stop the conversion. Maybe if the O line was better Kirk wouldn’t have to take all those sacks that killed drives.

@Bryce2428 To the eternal pessimist Kirk could win three SBs in a row and they would still hate on him. If the Viking go undefeated the credit would go to the defense or coaching or special teams, Kirk would not get credit for his play. Fact is he is one of 32 in the entire world and is in the Top 10 of those.

As a Washington fan it is not easy to rate this man because he’s inconsistent( at a game to game basis) or at least he was with us. I haven’t kept up with him since he left us but every now and then I’ll hear about a bad game he was having
