If our team plays the way it has been with russ back we could make a good run at the playoffs even after a horrible start

Last 3 games the defense has had great timing as you can tell by how hard they have been hitting their targets. Russ is hungry to get back, watching is tough for all of us.

We can’t get excited when we are about to be 3-7

Is there any reason to not try to make 1st downs on 1st downs or every time offense has the ball – every play?? I know that is really “outside of the box” thinking, but there are some teams & coaches that are not too far off from that concept. The usual response is that it is not realistic. I say, “Good, let’s use that!” It doesn’t mean a deep pass every play, but it does mean opening up the field, spreading the defense, playing without fear, going for the gold, using ALLLL of the talent & possibilities on the team, being bold challenging the defense, being creative, being unpredictable, but when you MUST do something, you do it even if it’s predictable, ie; on 3rd & 18, you don’t try to be tricky & do a little swing pass to the RB or a short screen behind the LOS, but you actually throw a pass beyond the required 18 yards! Throw on blitzes – quick throws, Russ needs to get rid of the ball FAST! More receivers out, always a safety valve, Actually, that would surprise our opponents – if we throw when we have to. Most teams can predict the Seahawks because they do dumb, dud plays when the moment requires big plays. They try so hard to fool the other teams by 2nd-guessing them, instead of doing what is necessary. And therein is the key; what is necessary is only that you get the right amount of yards on that play. Yes, 3rd & 18 requires a pass, but the combinations & possibilities are quite numerous. There are so many combinations. It ONLY takes 10 yards to get a 1st!! Hit some medium gainers for 12 -15 yards, then a big 1 or 2, opens up the run game, then deep again, or middle again then confusion & defeat starts beating up the other team, because of fearless play & too much to cover, but mostly with the Seahawks, it’s the run game 1st & then a big deep pass play & the pound the middle with the run game & it’s 3 & out – drives me nuts! Or they start with a couple deep pass plays, then tighten up into a low-gaining run game. Defense is better, that’s hopeful, but so late in correcting what should’ve been done from the start. You have to trust your players, they’re big boys now. This isn’t Jr. All-American. It’s the NFL!

Not having Eskridge since week 1 has been brutal fudes super dynamic.

Defense has been really solid with Russ out. If they can keep it up with Russ it’s over

If the Seahawks are going to sneak into playoffs they have to win a game vs Packers or Cardinals. With games against WFT, Niners, and Texans they got a good shot

Always good to see Diggs at the podium and giving that backfield some needed confidence. Go Seahawks.

We have not played good ball we been lucky we be in our own way diggs alone held it down past few weeks but the D still looks sleep RBs are still averaging 6/7yards a pop rushing & our flat coverage is terrible that’s why we get checked down on by elite QBs

They may only have 4 turnovers this year but 2 of them cost them 2 games

The d just needs to play like this all the time with Russ in especially we can’t let off the gas pedal now
