It’s looking like we might not pay Monty just like we didn’t pay Howard
I was pissed about the Howard move but I don’t think he was anywhere near the talent Monty has. And you also see why we didn’t keep him he didn’t pan out in Philly or Miami so I wasn’t to upset about it. Now we got two guys in the backfield and if they are smart we run the ball like Cleveland and Dallas has with two guys.
I would say the offensive line has to plan for watts, but I dont think the current bears coaching staff or players are capable .
I think Larry Borom will do just fine against T.J. Watt. Mustipher and Whitehair are the two that cause concern.

Yes and no. He is more of a north and south runner 🏃♂️. He has that old school type of running. He slows down in is mind and he sees the open wholes. If that makes sense.
@larry willard agreed. He reminds me of Thomas Jones actually. Monty/Herbie can be a great backfield that could make things easier for Justin.
@dblshotz75 He doesn’t run like Jones at all. Jones was a bulldozer. Respect though Jones was amazing. He runs more like Neal Anderson….vision, definitive cuts, and speed. Montgomery runs like Payton minus a stiff arm…always thrashing and spinning for an extra 2 or 5 😉

Monty is a bit more physical, both nice backs. Williams isn’t bad either.
He’s played a couple games lol, he is not better but he’s a really good rb not on montys level yet
