Welcome to Tampa Bri! Thanks for making the transition from “America’s Team” to our lovable Bucs. I’ll also be watching JTS, as I think Pollard may glide past him if he doesn’t keep containment. That being said, a healthy Lavonte and having Winfield Jr. on the loose should clean that up.
Casey, I agree that Jake the punter may be key; this game could be about field position.
This was a very pleasant watch. It felt like 2 friends just having a conversation and excited about their team. Hope to see these 2 working together more often in the future!
Hmmmmm….. A Dallas girl, 😍 I didn’t know that… Brady develops chemistry with “All” of his receivers and I personally feel he needs to go to the check down to Darden close to the sideline as a Gronk kind of replacement because he has mad skills and is overlooked. Julio Jones is going to catch some passes 15 yards down field as well as Godwin and Evans. We should use Rudolf as a block and then release kind of receiver if we get blitzed like GreenBay does….
Outside the numbers checkdown not by the field numbers on the sideline I am talking about 20 yard pass to the sideline checkdown to spread the defense apart and respect #1 …. Lockett #16 had the same position before he started going deep downfield for Seattle and he stayed a foot from the out of bounds and Wilson would throw to him if nothing else was open downfield or short …. it works very well…. then teams started to catch on and Seattle never went back to it when it really worked and I was impressed by it as well… The defense was spread out because the corner had to respect him and it gave him a chance to catch his breathe in between plays…. Go Bucs !! Superbound but one game at a time…
With the addition of Neal !! Our secondary is going to be flying around the field with their hair on fire !! One person hits the receiver after the catch and one person covers the receiver and tackles the ball !!!

Seeing how a healthy secondary in combination with a couple of bigger, faster edge rushers will translate into turnovers is what I’m looking forward to. TB12 will be fine. The defense being smothering will be the thing that either makes or breaks this season. Hicks and Vita are going to be awesome. Buffalo looked great in their opener due to their defense. The Lombardi trophy will have to be wrestled out of Josh Allen’s hands this year.
