I am not going to say that Stefanki is a bad coach, because he is not! in fact he is a world class coach. Part of the problem is that he is going up against world class talent and his weaknesses are showing.

And one of his greatest weaknesses is evident after his divorce of Baker Mayfield. Baker’s greatest skill is Stefanski’s greatest weakness; the dawg.

And so until we have a DAWG, in one of our three most important positions (Coach, Offensive Captian, Defensive Captain) that exudes that verbally, and physically, while also exuding selflessness, our team is in trouble.

Look, I know Browns fans are frustrated because these loses are unacceptable but Kevin is NOT the problem. He’s a class act coach and we would never have been close without him. Our defense is abysmal and something has to be done about it. The Walker loss was huge and I don’t think people realized until now. Remember, as much as I like Jacoby, he’s a back up and he’s making these mistake which can’t be blamed on Kevin. York also HAS to make his kicks. Overall, there’s a lot to clean up

Regardless the team is way under performing id be worried if we were 5-0. I’d be happier; but still concerned about our run D and poor coverage. Seems to me we have a problem in philosophy & accountability. I mean 32nd team rushing offense just torched us!

I’ve watched it two straight years, Joe Woods gets this defense soft, AND it’s from his philosophy that’s counter to our personnel, which we found in the second half of last year, OUR ‘real identity.’ But, Joe, he wants to lay back, in soft, soft zones 15 to 20 yards off most plays, keep everything in front, that’s his mindset. When Kevin helped the D gameplan addressing the issues (being “hands on”), namely, in the second half of last season, we ran much more man and press man, and blitzed and mixed our fronts up. It was night and day. It’s time to see the obvious, and make that change, regardless of friendships.

Yes, we understand that Jacoby is playing well but when it’s crunch time he keeps on failing.. eventually as a coach you have to see that Jacoby just can’t make that one last play. Stop putting the ball in his hands!
