wasnt just dorsey not hiring him, but even more so because he hired kitchens who was totally unprepared for a hc job……..
@don smith Yes for that reason also. That and getting rid of good players that we needed down the stretch.
I wanted Stefanski last year because Depodesta wanted him. I trusted in Depodesta’s judgement cause he wanted Sean Mcdermott who is doing well in Buffalo. Plus I knew someone who only had 8 games as an OC, had accusations of not completely running the offense and also was using someone else’s playbook was not going to work out well. But I think it ended up working out just fine. I’m sure Stefanski has called back on many situations he faced last year being the OC for the Vikings to help him win us games.
