@Ron deezzee lol Baker is way better under center than in shotgun. Last year, he had 9TDs to 3 INTs from under center, but we were in shotgun 70% of the time. Stefanski seemed to be using Kitchen/Monken offense this game.

@Ron deezzee then you put Baker in the damn Pistol which is designed for quick passes, playaction fakes, and allows him to see the field a little more than behind the center. (This staff is too dumb to recognize scheme fits for the personnel they have).

@My Dude and in college he played better undee center as well as his rookie year. If he is the franchise QB this moron coach needs to stop running the shotgun and empty backfield in favor or the pistol and under center.

@John Connor It was if Kitchens grew hair, got liposuction, and put on a mask. I thought we were going to see a Shanahan offense, not a Hue/Haley/Monken/Arians offense. OBJ needs to be benched, we can still do damage with Landry, Higgins, Hunt, Chubb, Hooper, Njoku, and Bryant. OBJ is just there for speed, since Ratley got cut, no WR outside OBJ is a burner.

The Browns need Ken Zampeze back. He is the one who had Baker looking the best on the field. Zampeze should not of been let go. Until the organization provides structure and not a new regime every year or other year they are gonna be crap. With obj I really think it is a failed experiment. The rat birds cut Earl Thomas. John Harbaugh said “He just didn’t fit in here. He not a bad player. He’s a good player, but he just didn’t fit.” Yeah he may go somewhere else and light it up, but you also take that pressure off of Baker to force feed him the ball. It’s evident that OBJ and Baker do not have good chemistry on the field.

Mayfield has regressed drastically. How a person can get consistently worse with more experience is beyond comprehension. He is trash. The sooner we get rid of him the sooner we can improve. Or we can “look at the tape” like we’ve been doing for the past 21 years.

Is it possible that Baker can’t get through his progressions and focuses on the primary target? It seems to me that Baker doesn’t just force it to OBJ but he’s forcing to whoever the primary target is. If that guy isn’t open he bails to the right. Baker forces it to Landry, OBJ, Hodge doesn’t matter. Yes, OBJ dropped a first down but he’s not forcing it to himself. And if Baker is trying to force it to OBJ because OBJ isn’t happy then Baker really isn’t the guy after all. Better win Thursday!

V ZOMBIE bro browns signed Landry to 5 years 75 mill contract. I never said he was #1 in Miami but he was projected to be a #1 going into free agency. He was the #1 receiver here his first year until they signed Odell for only 3 mill more per year. And he had more yds than Odell last year. It’s no way u watch the games and think Odell is better than Landry in Cleveland. He isn’t. Landry didn’t have a wide open drop yesterday; Odell did.

Total difference…For the first two minutes Stefanski put it all on him.

@Ju Young Kim Chubb is the best running back in the league and, averages more per yard than anyone lol. You can’t be serious over one fumble. He was totally underutilized and, should have been on field with Hunt. (This team doesn’t need a fullback. We got a TE/H-back for that role and, Hunt).

@JazzedHellcat the line held up good today. Only had two sacks. The problem is Baker needs to learn how to move around and step up in the pocket. I thought Wills Jr played damn good for his first start and not having an off season. Run was working well too. That fake punt was a terrible call, and the penalties fucked us as well. I knew we’d lose this game. I just wanted to be competitive. Next week will show me a lot about our coach. I obviously don’t wanna lose another division game but if we play with as lot less penalties and don’t turn the ball over I’ll be happy. As long as we improve from week to week we’ll be alright

StevenC32 that happeneds when receivers can’t get open drop ball, and when baker has no protection. I do agree some of his throw were bad but he hit a lot of people with perfect pass that just were covered and he had to force the ball

No they are showing signs that they are improving, but they don’t have a good team yet. You saw how the Raven control the both the offensive and defensive lines of scrimmage during the game. The Browns need to keep working they are getting there.

It very clear that if you have a team that can’t neutralize the power game of the Ravens, then you need to have better speed, and you need deception, we saw that with the Ravens not the Browns. I think Raven sent a massage to the NFL that this their year to go to the Super Bowl, not the Browns.

Now having said that I do think that Coach Stefanski is good coach, but remember the Browns had Kyle Shannahan as their offensive coordinator at one time. It is not the players, coaches or the GM’s its problems the Browns it’s the owner. We see if he start making impulsive decisions again.

@Brandon Lowman Actually!!! Chris Sims did!! You should find that video. He said after he went and watched tape of all the QBs he said Lamar was the ONLY one who didn’t have any questions coming into the draft and listed him the best in his class. And damn was he right!!!

@Chief Ryback here here, I wanted Allen too. Biggest upside in the draft. Baker, high floor, low ceiling. Allen was the opposite.
