Did all those numbers in your excel sheet add up to 13? If they did then I guess there’s nothing to worry about.. everything’s going according to plan.
Secret dig at OBJ
If only he was coaching at that level..
You do Realize Baker missed Jarvis for easy td and many other throws that WR and RB were wide open
Sloppy throughout, he needs to let the OC call plays and play Case
Agreed
@Z Breezy Agreed x 2
Hasn’t changed yet. He’ll have to look at the tape and make 0 changes
Feels like a loss. That was pretty terrible, this team just doesn’t feel together.
Facts….felt like this time last year we had great chemistry…it seems gone
@Kyle Morgan that’s my thing too. Whatever ‘it’ we had last year? Gone. I mentioned this in an earlier comment, but 9 weeks later and I’m still mad at Anthony Schwartz for ruining the season. If he doesn’t give up on a route, the pass doesn’t get intercepted, and Baker doesn’t blow out his shoulder trying to tackle the guy who intercepted the pass 🤬
This win feels as much like a loss as Arkansas losing by 7 to Alabama yesterday felt like a win!
Feels like a win to me I was in the stadium. Win!
Good thing most Browns fans aren’t too broken up over Alabama or Arkansas, Hobo Bob
@J OSU would beat bama by 10-15. They would beat Arkansas by, oh boy 💀 50-60
Ohio state vs worst secondary in college football mich st.. Bama has already laid the smack down on Ohio st
Nick Chubb is a amazing player and person.
Maybe you should give him a ring…he aint gonna give us a ring with a pee-wee pass play calling.
We must be good now, we win and still have to apologize.
Might just be our last win of the year. Can’t play that sloppy and expect much more
So true.
lol
I would be pleased with a solid win not another nail biter
Once again after Nick is doing well they start forcing passing and putting Chubb on the sidelines in key situations. Finally let Nick run to finish the game.
It looks like a goal line offense when its first and ten at our own 30.
we’re a mess but we needed that dub regardless. go browns
Stefanski…you’re the coach. You should know if Case is warming up. YOU can’t be asking what WTF we’re doing. You have to pull Baker when he’s limping. You are responsible. I hate having the fans blaming the players for what YOU are doing.
Exactly what I’m saying, we didn’t even need Baker for the game we should’ve rested him for Baltimore. Case could’ve handled this game.I’m starting to lose faith in Stefanski’s decisions.
Baker is either compromised or he isn’t. If he’s so inaccurate because he’s hurt…..then sit him down!
A game it is, but a business is what it really is. Baker Mayfield will want to play no matter what, he’s on the line with his career here in Cleveland, management will play him until he drops, so they don’t have to pay him.
3 weeks of singular focus of Baltimore… we win them both we are right where we need to be
Mayfield is still my qb but he may need to sit next game and get to weeks to recover and come back stronger the second game against Baltimore
Yeah he’s taken a step back as a coach this year. I like the guy but he’s becoming predictable and incapable of making adjustments and holding players accountable. We are one of the most undisciplined teams in the league this year.
His personality is like his play calling- like watching paint dry..
As a Browns fan, the highlight of the game for me was watching Case warm up to come into the game..
😂🤣💀
This season is as big a mystery to me as any in four + decades(!) of being a Browns fan.
Front Office: Top notch. Andrew Berry, according to everyone in the universe, is one of the top executives in the league.
Coaching Staff: Head Coach was Coach of the Year last year, deservedly. Best offensive line coach in football. Even Joe Woods has a solid history. Respected coaches up and down, not forgetting Stump Mitchell of course.
Offense: Chubb, Hunt, Landry, Hooper, Njoku, Hollywood, and the best offensive line in football (arguably).
Defense: Garrett, Ward, JOK, JJIII, solid players at all three levels.
Why are they suddenly completely without discipline? The penalties are ridiculous.
Why do they not have any energy at all? There is no spark. No life. It’s crazy.
6-5, barely beating a No win team.
🤦♂️
I agree with almost everything you say especially the part about the discipline some of that has to fall in a coach. The problem with the Browns is it something different every game every play. Someone’s holding someone’s running the wrong route Landry fumbles when he hasn’t fumbled in 4 yrs costing us a win. Chubb fumbles against the Chiefs then the printer fumbles. That’s two games we should have one because of the chargers and the Chiefs games. But what I’ll ask you and what I don’t understand is the Browns beat Detroit by 3 and we’re a mess we beat the bears down and stack them nine times. And both games are bad winds and we get questioned. But guess what the great Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Lions by a combined 2 points. ( Ravens 66 yard field goal that shouldn’t have counted because the play before was an egregious delay-of-game that would have put them out of range ) the Ravens get crushed by The Bengals??? The Steelers barely beat Andy Dalton and the bears with questionable calls at the end of that game and no one says a word about the Ravens or the Steelers look at our common opponents this year and what we’ve done to them. I agree it is a mystery of sorts. But it’s why they play the entire season out because hopefully it all evens out in the end. But the Browns because of who they are or unfairly criticized for winning. And not the steelers for tying. Or Ravens getting blown out. And the offensive line hasn’t played together all year untill this week nnitnfot a full game anyway. So the jury’s out. It’s just a biased jury. These next 3 weeks will determine the entire season. Because we play Baltimore then Baltimore plays the Steelers then we play Baltimore again. Someone has to lose between Baltimore and Pittsburgh so if we take care of business and win this week it certainly puts a ton of pressure on the Ravens because they could go from first to last in 3 weeks. And if you’re under the opinion that we can’t beat the Ravens in Baltimore will look at what happened with The Bangles and look at what happened when the Freddy kitchen LED Browns went in there and stomped em. When our next two games and we can be in first place in our own division let alone playoff race. yes we have the toughest schedule in the NFL left but the Ravens have the second-toughest the Steelers have the third toughest and the Bengals have the 4th. It’s going to be crazy and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out I wish we would have rested Baker and let him get ready. But we’ll see.
But thank you for recognizing the fact that he is the reigning coach of the year!! And him and Andrew Berry are both ivy league graduates and supposedly and deservingly might I add some of the most talented and well-respected front office and coaches in the league. The penalties though !! Your dead right. At some point that’s coaching. But it certainly seems like some of the holding calls and pass interference calls seem to always go against us at the worst time. Look at last week against the Lions win Chubb rips off a 20-yard run holding next play chub rubs off 16 yd block-in-the-back?? Those are going to happen but they happened at terrible times. The ones that fall on the coaching or the pre-snap penalties those the ones I can’t stand. Those stefanski has to clean up and I can never understand for the life of me why every time the Browns are in 2nd 3rd or 4th and short… They come out empty backfield shotgun??? Why not even if you’re going to pass it keep Chubb in the game. He doesn’t get the respect on social media and on all the TV shows for beingthe very best running back in the league…. But defensive players for sure know how dangerous Chubb is so if you’re going to throw it just have him in the backfield do a little play-action. But if I’m the Browns… Anytime I’m inside the 5-yard line or it’s s down and short I’m either going to tell Chuck your getting the ball for times in a row to get this touchdown or you’re getting it twice in a row to get this first down. You see what Nick Chubb is capable of at the end of football games and what that old line is capable of now that they’re going to be all there. If they have a fourth-quarter lead they can simply run the ball and run the clock out even with 5 minutes or less. If they clean up the penalties and get healthy because we need wide receivers we can’t play with guys off the street like we did against Detroit. But if we get healthy and get our identity back which the weather will force because we know what Cleveland is like in December and November. Well be fine. Hunts back. Conklin’s back. Jok’s back. (he’s more important then people realize & gonna be an all pro someday ) we’ll be fine. But hey Joe woods let’s blitz more then 18% of the time. !!!
So the Browns need only three more wins for a second winning season in a row. That would be the first time for the Browns after returning to the NFL in 1999. Looking at the schedule though and seeing how the team has handled this season I’m not sure they can win three more. At the start I felt that this part of the schedule was going to be a cake walk. I don’t feel that way today.
