#20 is atrocious he reminds me of that bum safety we let walk half way through the season last year. I hate to say it but if we can get something good on defense for OBJ it would be worth it, Chubb and Hunt can carry this offense and we have plenty of receiving weapons even w/out Odell.

This style of offense looked incredible and Stefanski called a GREAT game. I’m confident that he IS going to be our head coach for a long time. I’m also confident that the offense will get better and better as the season goes on…too many people forget that the Browns had a short training camp and NO pre-season games to get familiar with this offense. That said, the really sad part about this season is the fact that our defense is going to lose us a LOT of games…I’m actually not sure we’ll even be able to finish better than 8-8, purely because of how bad the defense is. We have SEVEN starting defensive players out with injuries now…Grant Delpit, Oliver Vernon, Adrian Clayborn, Mack Wilson, Jacob Phillips, Greedy Williams and Kevin Johnson. We also have THREE additional backup defensive players out with injuries and we’re missing Andrew Billings because he opted out of the season. If you look at the team’s depth chart, ALL FOUR of our right side Defensive Ends are injured right now!!!
I really believed that our offense would get sharper and sharper with each game and we’d finish the season with at least 10 wins and a Playoff game. Unfortunately that is a pipe dream now IMO. There is just no way that we are going to be able to overcome all of these injuries on defense…that entire side of the ball is absolutely decimated right now, and while we may be able to eek out wins against teams like the Bungles and HOPEFULLY Washington, against even just GOOD teams I think we’re going to get steamrolled. That also really makes me worried about Baker because if we start out every single game in early one or two TD deficits, Baker is going to take more risks in an attempt to hit the big plays to keep the Browns in the game, and his interceptions are going to soar. I hate being a Debbie Downer because I LOVED what I saw from Stefanski and the ENTIRE offense tonight…from the O-Line to Baker to our Running Backs…but I just have a terrible feeling that our defense is going to be a sieve for most of this season.

You played the Bengals Relax… your team hasn’t proved they can compete with real teams yet.
Clayborn, Phillips, and Johnson were not going to be starters, and neither was Delpit, at least not initially. Haven’t seen much from Garrett other than the forced fumble. The back end is slow other than Ward.
If Mayfield doesn’t play well this season he’s gone
@Devonta Draper True the Bengals are not an elite team but they are an NFL team, played hard and are better then last year. A good team will win the games they’re supposed to.
The play action at the beginning was great but the defense really is trouble especially the secondary.
Its kinda nice to actually be able to hear the questions well for once. Probably the only good thing to come from all this. Lol

@Edward Gaines Most of these well paid young players don’t respond to the old style tough coaches. I doubt if there would of been long -term success. We’ll never know.
@kingbey fan First off, I was just being friendly. No way of knowing you have no sense of humor. Second, How do you know how he addresses the locker room? Also there has been lots of loud HC that have not had success.

The Defense has some positives, 1. Relentless pressure on the Quarterback, 2. played well against the run, 3. physicality! Go Browns!
Pressure on the worst O-line in the NFL, Linebackers look horrible but I thought Denzel played pretty well
