As a 49er fan, he was a great #3rd WR for us. He could definitely be a WR #2 for ya’ll, he’s not a #1 type WR but he could be that 2nd, 3rd guy. He’s a really good WR, he was great in the red zone for us. Only problem with him is he drops easy catches sometimes.

Cam’s best years came when he was paired with TE Greg Olsen, a generational talent. Never mind the returning opt-outs or the superb O-line we now have, the fact that BB got 2 solid TEs, and that NE is deadly running a duo TE scheme, alone will make this team unrecognizable compared to last year. Don’t forget BB is 0-2 against Cam with Olson, and has always said how hard it is to prepare for Cam. Why do you think he got 2 exceptional TEs? This year is going to be vastly different from last year’s.

So I repeat, BB doesn’t think Cam is done. And for what it’s worth so do I.

Cam Newton’s ranked #1 pass completion percentage of 20 yrds or more at 53.4% completion percentage. Cam Newton ranked top 10 passing against the blitz. Cam Newton ranked top 10 throwing on 3rd down. Cam Newton ranked top 10 converting 3rd and long passing. Cam Newton had 21 TOTAL TD’s not 8. Rushing TD’s count for 6 just like passing TD’s. Bill and Josh don’t give a damn about how they get 6. Cam Newton’s accounted for over 47% of Pats Offensive scores this year which was far more than what any single player accounted for, for their team. Cam Newton accounted for over 80% of the Pats Offensive yards last season, again the most by any player in the league . That’s why Bourne said “Cam got help now”. Our whole year was Cam or bust game in and game out yet and still Cam, Bill, and Josh kept us competitive in every game except 3 games with a WR group and TE group that could not and would not start on any other team in the league
