Ken Dorsey: “We’re Going To Do Whatever It Takes To Win A Football Game“ | Buffalo Bills

Bills Offensive Coordinator Ken Dorsey spoke to the media on Monday following the team’s 31-23 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Topics included: The ineffectiveness of Josh in the first quarter but him adjusting to the circumstances, having a quick turnaround this week and what that takes to prepare, using what they learned from COVID to adjust to not being able to be at the building for meetings, the importance of getting the run game going, and Stefon Diggs having a leadership role on the team.

About time.

No more hotdogging the end zone. Use your point kicker.

Ahyash Rawchaa

Be committed to running the Football in the Red Zone. As well as establishing the run early like it was done on Sunday. Josh Allen doesn’t need 50 TD passes.

    Johan

Yes he does. He has to be better than mahomes

    Card Master

    Lmao love it

Fluffy Potato

Dorsey saving that hidden play book sheet for the playoffs!! BILLIEVE!! LFG BUFFALO Humble and Hungry. 🔥 💪 🦬 💯

JDSabre

How about some more creativity with play-calling AND utilizing HINES / putting Marlowe in instead of the rookie who keeps getting burned?

Tim Fox

These coaches all sound just like politicians. Imho

Mark Gill

Definitely a better game. Browns were tough. Yes our kicker scored more than the O line but it’s a W.
Please for the love of “G” never ever ever go QB sneak from the 6″line. 7″ backwards =safety. Give it to a big boy. Screen. Anything but that. Nooooooo.

    Largemouth Hunter

In that game they should of shotgunned and threw it out of bounds , Game over , only 41 seconds left 😳

I am cool with Dorsey he is still flossing his learner’s permit. Sounds like the prep is a bear plus family and 6ft of snow ❄. The man who does the most homework with good time management wins 🏆 🤔 3 games and white knuckle plane flights ✈ in 2 weeks has my respect. I am hard on Dorsey it’s fair as a fan we know nothing really but the man learns so there is hope COYBILLS!!!! I hate homework so i put useless comments on YouTube we all have our crosses to bear is intense now everyman will seek his own pressure causes some to crumble but some become diamonds 💎

I’ve got to say that your channel is one of the few that actually put in solid descriptions of their videos so thank you!!

Singletary vs Williams & Diggs vs Reynolds on the O on Thanksgiving & Von Miller vs Goff on D this Thursday. Short Time Preparation, but we can do it.Go Bills Mafia!

We need some creative plays. Get Hines and ALL weapons involved in the offense. You were GREAT the 1st 1/3rd of season. But now that there is tape seems like teams are catching on to ya. Have to adapt and change… Misdirection plays, jet sweeps and creative plays need more in the game

2nd half adjustments have been lacking since the bye imo, and for the exact reason you said…teams now have enough film on Dorsey’s plays and schemes to prep for it. He did better vs Browns in that regard, but I agree he’ll have to be more creative with the inconsistent play of receivers not named Diggs, and no real production or option in the slot. I still don’t understand why we don’t make it a point to get Shakir more touches. Its getting a bit frustrating tbh. The kid is a playmaker and incredibly clutch, smart and shifty for a rookie. With defenses trying to get pressure on Josh as their #1 priority, I’d love to see him get some screens (why does it feel like we never use screens?), pitches and quick passes to actually see what he can do and get YAC. Maybe let him split snaps w Hines in the slot, but ffs just give him a chance. He’s made the most of his few opportunities and came up big for us & Josh when he needed him, and we reward him with less touches?? We need to do something because defenses are putting their CB1 on Davis and bracketing Diggs and Josh hasn’t really had any other consistently reliable options.

Nyheim Hines needs to operate out of the slot … People keep talking about OBJ as if the team has no receivers who are capable of making a difference… Play Shakir and Hines out of the slot and throw the short accurate passes that don’t allow the pass rush to put so much pressure on Josh all the time… I think the O- line is not keeping Josh as clean as they should and he seems to be playing spooked, rolling out of the pocket much more now as the protection breaks down.
Draft a couple of early round O linemen this offseason…It’s time for Josh to have a high caliber O line protecting him to allow him to flourish…..

We had the guy and let him go because of his stance on the jab. Cole Beasely. Yeah, that guy.

After 10 games the Bills Offense is ranked 2nd in the NFL behind only the Chiefs and the Bills and Chiefs are the only 2 teams after 10 games to average over 400 plus yards of offense every game. The Defense on the other hand has slipped now from being 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th and now the defense is ranked 13th in the NFL, not good, I hope the Defense gets itself straightened out. Not Good.

M L

Pass and Run. Not just Pass. Both. Oh and can we stop overusing terms like “explosive” and “end of the day”? It’s getting cringy.

C P

Never thought I would wish Dabole were back This offense is predictable Lacks creativity and wtf is Allen seeing

    kirk58

I agree. he needs to go.

Elevated State of Being

I think Buffalo coaches did great and players stayed strong mentally. You proved you can stop run and produce the run. Josh needed a game with weight of his shoulders with no mistakes. Perfect win and I Don’t mind being the only fan to say so.

    Same

I HATE THE QUESTIONS BUFFALO REPORTERS ASK! ITS TIME TO HIRE SOME QUALITY PEOPLE!

Dilly_Dilly_Dale

The entire right side of the line is a liability. Ryan bates & spencer brown both are awful, even saffold is struggling until Brandon beane solidifies the oline for our GENERATIONAL QB, like the chiefs GM and dolphins GM did for their QB, also both chiefs and dolphins gave their QBs more weapons

Angelo Fresquet

RUN. On offense. Blitz on defense. Take away. Dont turnover. Focus on REDZONE. Use backs and TEs. You’ll win more decisively. Execute.

Josh is 5years in. He maybe has 5 more years. If possible 10. Hes 26. At 36. That’s end game. Window and time fly by….. people forget time goes fast and ability to win with this QB is now.

Angelo Fresquet

Being top 5 offense means nothing.

Top-ranked offenses have even lost more Super Bowls than top-ranked defenses (two) in that time. Of the 55 Super Bowl champions, 48 of them ranked in the Top 10 in scoring defense. Sixteen of the champions led the NFL in scoring defense and another 18 finished in the Top 5. Meaning take ways and we are last.
