Ken Dorsey: “Our Goal Is To Score On Every Drive“ | Buffalo Bills

Bills Offensive Coordinator Ken Dorsey spoke to the media on Monday afternoon following the 27-17 win over the Green Bay Packers. Topics included: Analyzing Josh’s throws that were intercepted and why it happened to prevent it from happening again, how the nature of the flow of the game decided the roles of the RBs like Singletary and Cook, how chirping is a competitive part of the game, improvements in the offensive line so far this season, and what to prepare for in playing the Jets this weekend.

A speedy guy would be nice just let him

Lyn

First half was great, but team either got over confident or arrogant in the 3rd quarter. Hopefully this will help the team see you ” CAN’T BLINK ” ! I have to give Devon Singletary a
👏🏼 he had a great game, good vision and burst , hopefully he can continue with it.

AR Mathis

Ken kept his cool when ask a tough questions.

    Sue Kuhn

I did love the laptop “incident” growing up, we always broke things so this felt like it was part of our family. just saying

    David Blette

No laptops were destroyed, despite some dumb questions.

George

Ima call BS. Something changed in the second half where you took the foot off the gas and took the Ball out of Allen’s hands. We needed a knockout blow and that never happened. You score and you plan to score every drive till the game is over. Who cares if we put up 50 burgers. Don’t let teams hang around.

    Sean guitarman

    Point shaving, happenstance,

    Sue Kuhn

hey apply for a job .

    Leslie Chow

Allen needs to learn to protect 3 points and not throw stupid picks on the red zone.

    almadeunrebel

it’s the Pack needed to cover +10.5, it really is that simple.

sorry if you want a video where this is confessed by the teams of the league

California Dreaming

This was a game I actually missed because I was “nice” and took my wife out for dinner. I did keep track while eating though and supposedly the Bills struggled a bit in the second half. One thing Bills fans might know though: the Packers, with Rodgers, almost always start slowly then play better as the game progresses. Heck, the Packers always do this too as the season progresses; they lose games early then win most of their games after the midway point. Remember the whole “RELAX” thing or the whole “Run-the-Table” thing? That’s Rodgers’ MO. But I might go watch the game now to see what happened. I’ll admit, I thought the Packers had no chance before the game started, mostly because the Bills are a far-superior team. I usually watch Bills games to check out Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs as they’re really fun to watch.

    Greg Evola

The Packers DID have no chance. And you offered 2 years of a 18 year career as evidence enough for it to be his MO? Okay, guy. Haha

California Dreaming

Josh can throw 62 MPH and has a 0.38 release. Heck, he throws 59 MPH running to his left which is unheard of for a righty. So sometimes Josh tends to believe he can squeeze a throw into tight coverage and good DBs can take advantage of it. As long as Josh maintains a 3 or better on his TD-2-INT ratio I wouldn’t be too concerned although I haven’t looked at his stats lately. (From watching Josh I think that, when he gets picked, it tends to be on late throws. If he keeps that Time-to-Throw (TT) number low, as he did against the Rams, then he’s REALLY dangerous.)

    Timothy Storrs

Agreed, seems to do better when he gets rid of the ball quick.

Brae Dotson

If you didn’t know the Ravens just got Smith what are we doing to counter these teams that are getting better to beat us that’s why they’re putting these players on their teams what are we doing to counter them to say no not this year this is the bills year don’t let them do this to us

    Jack Slacker

I’m getting worried about that as well.

    Brae Dotson

I agree it’s not that I don’t think our team is well put together to compete with the other teams it’s a matter of understanding the battle there is a regular season battle then there is a playoff battle we’re fully equipped to get into the playoffs we have a regular season war ready team it just feels like when the playoffs here these players that the other teams are going to get are there for that impact I feel like we need to go get a safety just to make sure we’re okay at the back end and a running back and maybe even a right tackle not for our right tackle who’s starting and replace for brown but for Brown just my thoughts what do you think or anybody else

Artemio Marifosque

Ken, we here in the Philippines are with you in coaching our Offense with Josh & his Team every week towards the SB57. Interceptions are part of wrong decisions by ourselves once in a blue moon so to speak so we still believe Josh is still perfect MVP Candidate. More power & keep safe. Congratulations for humiliating aaronRodgers Offense in week 8. Now, lets focus on beating Jets offensively @ Metlife Stadium. Just be prepared every week & stay healthy mentally,ok? God bless yoyr family. Cheers from the Philippines,Man!

    seleb

    🙌 ❤

    Ray

Go bills! Love to the Philippines!

Mark Peter

Josh can Normally make those throws across his body… But there he tried forcing a ball in a no catch window. That pass never had a chance and he forced it.

Jack Slacker

I just want Josh Allen to accept a field goal when in range instead of trying to force a pass when nothing is there.
Especially when his team has a decent lead.

pauly233

Jets got a GREAT d-line this week should be quick passing game. U call long plays and have Josh back there for 3-4 seconds he getting sacked or hit

Leon

I just want to know why you’re not playing Zach Moss he’s good

Leon

He say we love Zack Moss play him you’re not playing him play him come on get it together Dorsey

Leon

I can’t believe Zack Moss is bad cuz I know he’s not bad Dorsey give him so touches

nadeem patel

Ken you will succeed but you have to remember the clock you have to mix it up just flashy are needed 7 or 8 minutes are better you got the lead give defense a little rest keep the out Roger’s hand they can’t score you got to keep everyone healthy

apb1969

Scoring on every drive also means taking field goals. Happy to see that it’s happening more. Thanks, coach.

almadeunrebel

no NFL team has a more accomplished OC…
KD was a heisman level player on one of the best college teams of all time

Timothy Storrs

Just want to add, very happy with Ken Dorsey as O.C. !

Richard Witalis

Allen needs more time to throw the ball.
Work on the offensive line and the scores will come.

seamus mclaughlin

This team can score on 80% of their drives. If the players don’t get complacent. And then let the defense do what they do best. This team has the talent. The Buffalo Bills are the only ones who will beat the Buffalo Bills.
